In our anniversary year – SEMPERIT AG celebrates its 200th birthday at the end of December – we have received a special award. Our Sustainability Report for the 2023 financial year has been honoured with the Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award (ASRA). We were delighted to take first place in the category for ATX Prime companies. The award is an important confirmation for us. As an industrial group in a resource-intensive industry, circular economy and recycling are among our main strategic directions. In addition, we make countless smaller and larger adjustments. Transparent and comprehensive reporting on this is important for us because it holds us accountable and shows our progress, but of course also those areas where we still have room for improvement. Sustainability is one of our core corporate principles. After all, Semperit would not have reached its 200th anniversary without sustainability in its DNA. Clean Energy Boost for Rivalit In implementing our sustainability principle, we turn many different cogs, but all of them together are important. Last year, our Rivalit plant has installed a 660 sqm photovoltaic system in Waldböckelheim, Germany. Completed in just two weeks, this system consists of 360 modules with a total capacity of 135.00 kWp. From January to September 2024, it has already reduced CO2 emissions by 49 tons and provided nearly 55% of the facility’s electricity needs, underscoring Semperit’s commitment to sustainability. November is Men’s Health Awareness Month Movember is also lived in our company - as you can see from the photos of our colleagues below. Although some of them also wear their beards beyond November. In this month, we’re focusing on the importance of men’s health and well-being.
