When a UK asset manager and two Czech engineers walk into a power plant… Sounds like the start of a joke, right? But actually, it was the start of a great meeting.✅ A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting Stuart Clements from InterGen, one of the UK’s leading independent power producers, at our operations in the Czech Republic. Together with Jan VOPARIL and Radek Jirků, Stuart visited Heat Power Plant Kladno—a key site of our sister company, skupina Sev.en. With our European company’s expertise in gas-fired power plants, the visit was a great opportunity to: 🔹 share best practices, 🔹 compare approaches to risk management and operations, 🔹 explore potential investments to improve long-term performance. ➡️ Seeing the plant up close sparked plenty of discussion—from technical setup and maintenance strategies to data analysis, all key elements to maximizing long-term value. Beyond the technical insights, visits like these help strengthen connections and keep expertise flowing both ways. 🌍 Thanks for visiting, Stuart! Looking forward to continuing the conversation.

When The West Australian sat down with our Country Manager, Mark Sykes, they wanted to know one thing—what’s next for SO4? The answer: we’re ramping up and moving full speed ahead. ✅ Our company SO4 is developing organic sulphate of potash (SOP), working towards full commercial operations and becoming a major supplier of potassium-based fertilizers in Australia. We explored potential partnerships but ultimately decided that keeping full ownership was the best path forward. As Mark put it: "We didn’t really find anybody who would add more value than us, so holding and retaining ownership was in our best economic interest." ➡️ Now, SO4 is entering a key phase—starting production and scaling up operations. It hasn’t been without challenges, but we’ve built a strong team and made key improvements to our processing plant to set the company up for long-term success. It’s exciting to see our work gaining attention, and we look forward to sharing more updates as SO4 continues to grow. ❇️

Will Europe Have Enough Gas Next Winter? Europe’s gas reserves are depleting fast—now below 60%—as cold weather bites, wind power underperforms, and Russian supplies remain cut off. 🔹 Here’s the issue: Storing gas should be straightforward—buy it in summer when prices are lower, then sell it in winter when demand rises. Not this year. Prices are nearly the same year-round, making storage far less attractive 📉. So, who’s going to stock up for next winter? 🔹What’s at stake? If storage isn’t refilled, Europe could enter next winter unprepared—exposed to price shocks, supply shortages, and geopolitical turmoil. Some European countries, like Austria and the Netherlands, have wiggle room in EU rules. But for most of Europe, strict regulations are limiting market flexibility. To fix this, Germany’s gas hub is proposing subsidies to encourage more storage. ➡️ But is that the right move? Should governments step in—or should the market be left to decide? Stability is crucial, especially during a fast-evolving energy landscape. At Sev.en Global Investments, we contribute to secure and reliable European energy supply through our gas-fired power plants at InterGen, powering over one million homes across the United Kingdom. 🚩Wrapping up a successful year in which we expanded our footprint, 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. But not in assets this time—𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. Afterall, workplace can't be just about the work, right? So we packed our ski gear and headed to the Austrian mountains for three days of fresh air, active relaxation and great company. 🌍 Of course, being a #globalcompany means time zones don’t wait, and projects don’t pause just because we’re on the slopes. Huge 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲—catching up on emails in the morning, taking a quick call from a mountain hut, and wrapping up work in the evening. Their 𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 to managing priorities and 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 in pushing things forward, no matter where they are, is what makes our team exceptional. ✅ And as you can imagine, we’re not just coming back with sharper ski turns—though a big shoutout to Radek Jirků and Lukáš Koleňák, ACCA for the carving lessons! (much appreciated, guys) We return with stronger connections, new shared memories, and a team spirit that only grows when you spend time together beyond office walls. ❇️ Some investments pay off in dividends. Others in unforgettable moments. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned—it’s always worth 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺.

❇️ Another milestone for Sev.en GI: 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 Our representatives recently met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh during his diplomatic visit to Czechia. They discussed our proposed 70% stake in the Mong Duong 2 Power Plant, the largest European investment in Vietnam’s critical infrastructure, highlighting our role in fostering Czech-Vietnamese economic cooperation. At the Czech-Vietnamese Business Forum in Prague, our Chief Strategy Officer, Petr Stulc, presented this landmark investment to 400 entrepreneurs from both nations. ➡️ We received strong support from Prime Minister Chinh, which, along with his encouragement to finalize approval processes and explore renewable energy opportunities, resonated strongly in Vietnamese media. ✅ The Forum also recognized Sev.en GI's cultural collaborations in Vietnam, such as supporting a Christmas concert at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hanoi and partnering with SOS Children's Villages Vietnam, which has been supporting children without parental care in Vietnam since 1967. We are proud to be a responsible operator committed to the communities where we work, ensuring a positive impact beyond business
