Get a sneak peek into a groundbreaking project, unique in its concept and pioneering in its efforts to reduce CO2 emissions in office interiors. This project will span over 20 months and cover an impressive 16,000 m2. Intrigued? Read on... As we've previously mentioned, the reconstruction project for the MSD offices in Prague's Five and Riverview buildings is underway. Though these buildings boast different designs, they share a common thread. YUAR Architects based in Prague, played a significant role in both projects. Today, these same architects are carrying forward the initial designs, incorporating user feedback and responding to the challenges posed by the post-COVID era. "We have been in Prague with MSD since 2014. During that time, we have solved numerous tasks of various sizes together, we have a lot of mutual experience. For us, being invited to a project is the best feedback, a great responsibility and, above all, a challenge! The MSD Five office project has won multiple awards in the past, the bar is set high. And we, together with the entire project team of MSD and CBRE will try to surpass it!" says Lukáš Janáč the project's lead architect. This evolving project aligns with and actively shapes the long-term global development of MSD office spaces. Office design has always adapted to the needs and possibilities of the time, transitioning from cubicles to the current Activity-Based Workplace (ABW), and now embracing the Hybrid Way of Working. ABW has become the strategy for all MSD offices, facilitating a Flexible Office Network and enabling a fully integrated Hybrid Way of Working. This project isn't just leading the way within MSD; it's setting the standard for the entire EMEA region. Stay tuned for more updates—you won't want to miss them!

We are excited to share with you that Gregory Speck, Architect & Designer YUAR Architects will be speaking at Architecture & Design Network 2024 on the 20 - 21 March in Prague. Gregory Speck, a native of Luxembourg, is a designer with a passion for unique environments. His academic journey led him to Innsbruck, Austria, where he honed his skills in architecture, specializing in residential and hospitality buildings in an Alpine environment. About a decade ago, when he relocated to Prague, he redirected his focus to the heart of office environments when joining YUAR architects. With an acute awareness of the rapidly evolving office landscape, Gregory has shifted his focus to address the challenges presented by the post-pandemic era. His forward-thinking approach explores the transformation of office spaces, providing insights into adapting to the changing needs of the modern workplace. As the founder of Prêt-à-bureau, Gregory has also dedicated his expertise to shaping innovative office furniture, respecting the intricate dynamics of social interactions among co-workers. Seznam soutěžících letošní Recepce roku se postupně plní.  Spolu s tím se doplňuje a finalizuje složení jednotlivých porot. Až bude vše komplet, zase všechny přestavíme na webu. Ale zatím se trochu pochlubíme. Kategorii DESIGN bude mít stejně jako loni pod palcem její předseda Radek Váňa. K Linda Petrová se jako členové přidají dva charismatičtí pánové. ➡ Architekt a designer Gregory Speck, rodák z Lucemburska, vystudoval architekturu v Innsbrucku. Už téměř 10 let žije a tvoří v Praze, ve studiu YUAR Architects, v roce 2021 navíc založil značku nábytku prêt-à-bureau. ➡ Daniel Jesensky má dlouholeté zkušenosti v oblasti marketing at retail, přednáší na vysokých školách. V poslední době se zaměřuje na ergonomii osvětlení, je spoluzakladatelem a výkonným ředitelem společnosti Spectrasol, která vyvíjí, vyrábí a aplikuje patentem chráněná prokognitivní LED svítidla.
