⁉️ We’re often asked about the meaning behind our purple and green logo. The truth is, our logo is more than just a design❕ It’s based on the Hexasphericon, a remarkable geometric shape with a continuous surface interrupted by two edges. What makes it truly special is that its center of gravity remains constantly above the ground during motion. As it rolls, it follows a fascinating path, moving both up and down while progressing in a straight line. 🦾 This makes it a powerful metaphor for the journey we take alongside our start-ups. Despite challenges, the vision remains clear, and the direction remains focused. Like the Hexasphericon, our start-ups are always in motion – pursuing innovative, often unconventional, and not always straightforward paths. #Startups #Logo #Hexasphericon 6G-life CeTI Technische Universität Dresden Technische Universität München Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH

I am very excited to announce the launch of our new large-scale project "Next Generation AI Computing (GAIn)", which is a collaboration between the Free States of #Bavaria and #Saxony. The main goal of GAIn is to drastically reduce the energy consumption of #AI technology by developing innovative, highly energy efficient AI hardware and software solutions while at the same time addressing predictability, reliability, and legal compliance challenges. I have the honor and pleasure to working with amazing colleagues on this project: 🌳 Prof. Dr. Stefanie Speidel (Technische Universität Dresden) 🌳 Prof. Dr. Holger Boche (Technische Universität München), 🌳 Prof. Dr. Frank Fitzek (Technische Universität Dresden). In addition, we closely collaborate with baiosphere and the Digitalagentur Sachsen (DiAS), as well as several companies and start-ups as network partners. 💡 If you would like to learn more about the vision and set-up of GAIn, please see the article on "Revolutionary AI initiative GAIn makes artificial intelligence energy efficient": https://lnkd.in/deKgR94q. 🙏 We could not work on such a visionary project without the 6 million EUR investment from the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst and the Sächsisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft, Kultur und Tourismus over the next three years, for which we are extremely grateful. We are also very thankful for the continuing support of our presidents Prof. Dr. Ursula Staudinger, Prof. Dr. Thomas F. Hofmann, and Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Bernd Huber.
