Are screens the future of education or a distraction from real learning? As a Montessori educator, I see overreliance on screens impeding social skills and attention spans. Children need to learn through concrete experiences and with all their senses. Through transfer activities for example children develop important skills in: Concentration and focus, fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, left-right movement, measurement skills. All these skills are essential preschool skills and prepare the child for later writing and reading. Personally, I doubt that screens can teach children these skills. Children need concrete hands-on experiences stimulating all their senses. The best for them is play. Which side are you on? Let’s discuss! 👇 #ScreenFreeEducation #EducationDebate

Are you looking to give your child the best developmental support possible? If your nanny is a significant part of your child's daily life, it's crucial to consider how they can actively contribute to your child's growth. Here are three things that your nanny should learn how to do: 1- How to observe your child carefully to find the right activities that are not too difficult and not too easy and correspond to your child’s development. 2- To set up the activities in a way that your child is motivated to engage into them and to be able to concentrate on those activities. 3- Learn how to communicate with your child and how to give positive feedback. The full video dives into these essential skills in detail. #NannyTips #ChildDevelopment #ParentingSupport #NannyLife #ChildhoodEducation #RaisingKids #ParentalGuidance #GrowthMindset #FamilyCare #LearnAndGrow

Onboarding a new nanny or revising her tasks? Here are three crucial things to consider for a seamless transition and effective collaboration. 1- Really take the time for the new nanny to go through your routines and to really manage a gradual transition for your child to a new nanny. 2- Make sure you really show the play-based activities you want your nanny to do with your child. 3- Prepare for emergency, anything can happen and the biggest worry of many nannies is that something might happen. Whether you're welcoming her to your family or simply readjusting duties, making the process smooth and informative can set the stage for success. To get the full scoop, check out the video! #NannyJourney #SmoothTransitions #CaregiverEmpowerment #FamilyHarmony #SeamlessSetup #EmpowerYourTeam #SuccessfulTransitions #CaregivingGoals #VideoInsights #WatchNow

Your child is clinging onto you as you try to leave for work or a night out? You feel guilty and your heart breaks leaving your little one crying as you go? I know this feeling only too well. Here are some more recommendations for you: ● Establish a consistent routine: Predictable schedules provide comfort and help children understand what to expect. ● Respect the child’s need for time: Avoid rushing transitions. Gradually increase the separation time from a few minutes to several hours to help them adjust. ● Use brief goodbyes: Keep goodbyes short and positive to avoid prolonging anxiety. ● Offer comfort objects: A favorite toy or blanket can offer a sense of security when away from parents. ● Model calm behavior: Children pick up on their caregiver’s emotions, so staying calm and confident helps ease their anxiety. ● Encourage independence: Offer opportunities for the child to explore their environment, building confidence in their ability to be away from you. #ParentingTips #SeparationAnxiety #ChildDevelopment #ParentalSupport #FamilyWellbeing #GrowingIndependence #NannyLife #ConfidentKids #SecureAttachments
