🌱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 ✈️ As part of Munich Airport’s Flughafen München ambitious "Net Zero 2035" program, we are taking bold steps to reduce our environmental impact. The first two electric Ground Power Units (eGPUs) are now in operation on the apron, with 20 eGPUs expected to be in use by the end of 2024. These emission-free, electric units will supply power to aircrafts at parking positions. ✔️ This shift to electric technology is a key milestone in Munich Airport’s sustainability journey, significantly cutting down noise and air pollution. ✔️ By December 2024, two-thirds of the airport’s ground power units will be switched to the electric model, enhancing both environmental performance and working conditions on the apron. ✔️ AeroGround’s role in deploying these systems is vital to achieving the airport's "Net Zero" target, where CO₂ emissions will be reduced by at least 90% by 2035, with the remaining emissions offset through climate-positive projects. This initiative also ties into broader sustainability efforts, which include the recent addition of electric passenger buses to our fleet. With support from the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport and coordinated by NOW, the airport’s environmental transformation is well underway. #Sustainability #AeroGround #eGPU #NetZero2035 #CleanEnergy #Innovation #GreenTech #MunichAirport #ElectricVehicles #ZeroEmission #Dynell

🚨 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 🚨 On November 12-13, we hosted our annual Safety Days for our operational employees, bringing together our Safety team, the Operations Management team, Health and Safety representatives, and airline partners from Lufthansa and United Airlines. The theme of this year's event was clear: 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 – emphasizing the top priority of safety in all our ground operations. Key topics covered during the event included: ✅ Safety Reporting ✅ Aircraft Acceptance ✅ Arrival Walkaround ✅ Safe Driving on the Ramp ✅ Empty/Final Hold Check ✅ ULD Checks before Loading The sessions began with theoretical presentations and talks on our Safety Day Bus, followed by practical demonstrations on a Lufthansa aircraft, where the Arrival Walkaround process was discussed in detail. The open and constructive dialogue with our employees was invaluable, allowing us to align on safety procedures and continuously improve our performance. Discussions with Lufthansa colleagues were equally valuable in strengthening our shared processes. Looking ahead, we’re excited to host another Safety Day next year and are exploring new formats to further engage with our teams and drive a culture of safety across AeroGround. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success! 👏 #SafetyFirst #GroundOperations #SafetyCulture #AeroGround #ContinuousImprovement

#Bodenabfertigung #NetZero
