🇬🇭 Ghana’s 2024 Elections: A Democracy at Crossroads On December 7, Ghana will hold its ninth democratic election since 1993. Voters will elect a new president and 276 legislators. The ruling party, NPP, led by the current Vice President Bawumia, seeks an unprecedented third term, while the opposition NDC, led by Former President Mahama, fights to avoid a third consecutive loss in Ghana’s high-stakes, winner-takes-all political system.
