One of my biggest pain points when working with APIs is small changes will have the biggest negative impact! For example if the structure or the name of a field changes - no matter how small. Even improvements to the response like pagination cause my app to break because this moved the data down the json structure and also returned less results. I am sure we all have some stories to share. What are your pain points? To make my life easier I am trying out APItoolkit which lets me know which integrations have changed their structure and what services are down. I don't like surprises, so this way I can be proactive rather than reactive when there are changes outside of my control. I will share my experience with APItoolkit, which is an all-in-one platform to observe, monitor, and test your backend and third-party APIs you depend on.
