𝐀𝐐 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration! 🤝 With a warm „Buenas“, we welcomed a group of students to our Barcelona data center AQ-BCN1 to give them an exclusive insight into our world of AI-ready and sustainable data centers. The group experienced first-hand what makes our location in Catalonia so unique. In addition to exploring the area where our next major 60 MW data center – powered by 100 % renewable energy – is currently under development, our guests learned more about our comprehensive innovation ecosystem, which includes an office area, a training and research lab and a dedicated space for AI development. 🏢💡 As it is important for us to inspire the next generations with knowledge about new generation, AI-ready data centers. Our colleague then presented our AQ vision, what it means to decarbonize the data industry and what makes our strategic data center locations in Oslo and Barcelona so special. We enjoyed discussing the role of data centers in shaping a responsible data future, emphasizing the importance of energy efficient design and ethical data handling. CPUs (central processing units) are the jacks-of-all-trades, doing everything from managing databases to running critical applications. GPUs (graphics processing units), on the other hand, are the sprinters – built to handle thousands of tasks at once, making them perfect for AI, machine learning, and processing massive data sets.     𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬? 💡   As the demand for AI, machine learning, and data-intensive workloads grows, GPUs have become critical for high-performance computing.
