New leadership team for BABOR sales in Germany Kiriakos Papouloglou and Thorsten Scholl have joined BABOR BEAUTY GROUP’s flagship brand, BABOR. Kiriakos Papouloglou has taken on the role of Sales Director Germany Professional, overseeing professional cosmetics sales and focusing on partnerships with beauty institutes, spas, and hotels. With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry and selective distribution, Kiriakos Papouloglou will further strengthen BABOR’s presence in the brand’s traditional distribution channel. Thorsten Scholl will lead sales activities in the retail and e-commerce sectors, with a focus on expanding brand presence for end consumers. He brings extensive experience in retail sales within the beauty and pharmaceutical industries. "We are developing BABOR into a global premium skincare brand," says Tim Waller, Co-CEO of the BABOR BEAUTY GROUP. "Our approach is a balanced multichannel strategy. BABOR has a strong foundation in professional cosmetics, and the most holistic way to experience the brand is through professional treatment. First Green Heroes Event at BABOR BEAUTY CLUSTER In November, BABOR BEAUTY GROUP organized the very first Green Heroes Event. Three teams competed enthusiastically in the Green Olympics, participating in three exciting and impactful challenges: a treasure hunt, a litter collection drive, and tree planting at Dr.-Leo-Vossen-Allee. The street leading up to the company’s new production and logistics cluster has recently been renamed in honor of first-generation company owner Dr. Leo Vossen, who developed the idea of scientist Dr. Michael Babor into a global beauty brand: BABOR. Throughout the event, employees shared inspirational talks on the BABOR Bees, carbon reduction and compensation strategies, as well as waste reduction initiatives. A huge thank you to our speakers, Carmen Müller, Sarah-Maria Wegner, Lina Kamal, and Christiane Foerster, for their valuable insights. The day ended with a warm and delicious bowl of Hokkaido soup cooked by chef Christian Quadflieg from BABOR BEAUTY GROUP’s highly decorated corporate restaurant —perfect for a chilly afternoon. "The BABOR BEAUTY CLUSTER basically is a computer built into a concrete shell – highly efficient and using the latest technology," says Co-CEO Horst Robertz. More than half a million units can be filled here every day. All building structures meet the KfW 40 energy efficiency standard. The core of the energy supply is a photovoltaic system on the roof that produces a large part of the electricity needed. The goal is for the building to be completely energy-self-sufficient by 2030. Entering travel retail BABOR BEAUTY GROUP’s flagship brand BABOR is set to reinforce its travel retail footprint. BABOR has been entering the travel retail space since 2021 with a partnership with Gebr. Heinemann and is now available at top travel retail locations like Heinemann’s duty-free stores at airports in Oslo, Frankfurt or Istanbul. “It has been an honor to join Heinemann’s booth at TFWA (Tax Free World Association) in Cannes last week.” says Lara Schlüter, Director Travel Retail at BABOR. “This partnership is a strong proof of concept as we are looking to broaden our geographical reach.” The brand recently opened in Hainan and considers the travel retail channel a strategic priority. To support this strategy, BABOR is collaborating with business development consultancy Blueprint, a travel retail specialist. “It has been amazing to partner with Blueprint and host a get-together in Cannes. It was the ideal set-up to reconnect and build lasting new relationships.”

Under the interior design leadership of Jagdfeld Design KG, the luxurious design concept once again bears the signature of designer Anne Maria Jagdfeld, who has successfully shaped the iconic appearance of the internationally acclaimed Hotel Adlon since its reopening 27 years ago. In close cooperation with the Kempinski Hotels Group and DH Deutsche Development Holding, a 900-square-meter relaxation retreat has been created. “We are delighted to have created a modern yet timeless retreat that matches the much-acclaimed ‘Adlon Spa by Resense.’,” explains interior designer Anne Maria Jagdfeld.
