The new high-bay warehouse at our #bilsteingroup logistics centre in Gelsenkirchen is becoming more and more concrete. More than 59,000 new pallet locations are being created here in a silo construction - a hall with a roof and wall attached to the high-bay racking. The high-bay warehouse is scheduled for completion at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026. And then? Then we'll already be thinking about how to utilise the rest of the site - in line with the motto: More Space - More Parts - More Business

The #bilsteingroup is continuously investing in itself and its global partners in order to continue on its successful path in the long term. One of the strongest signs of this is the expansion of logistics capacity at our largest warehouse site in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. It has been just two years since the logistics centre in Gelsenkirchen was launched, but due to increased demand on our capacities – thanks to the ongoing successful development of the company – construction has already begun on the second phase of expansion. At our #production facility, bilstein group #Engineering, in Germany we aim to reuse as many resources as possible: The heat from the machines is used to heat the fresh air drawn in from outside during the colder months, saving on additional heating. The waste heat from the compressors is used to produce hot water for the sanitary facilities. For our metal hardening processes, we use waste water to cool the cooling circuit. #bilsteingroup #futureofmobility #automotive
