Sustainable Design & Building Technology Services
Biotechnology, robotics, and AI now enable the technological alteration of biological life and the creation of artificial life 🧫 🌱 Artificial Nature Transposium explores how we fit biology into the increasingly technological world—and the other way around. How can we make room for technology in a balanced way that benefits us—and all other species? To explore the entanglement of artificial and living nature, we convened a transdisciplinary group of thinkers, artists, and researchers from bioarchitecture, bioart, robotics, biotechnology, and conservation. A big round of applause for the keynote speakers Hanaa Dahy, Fara Peluso and Phil Ayres; panelists Jonas Jørgensen, Anca Horvath, Kresten Jon Korup Kromphardt and Kasper Lynov; the Lighting Talks participants Alberte Spork, Karin Victorin, Sidse Rebien, Nikoline Lisbeth Holme, Anna Elisabeth Thomassen Vadsten, Victor Vadmand Jensen, and Søren Lyngsø Knudsen; the stellar moderator Markus Löchtefeld, and all the Art&Technology students who helped produce the transposium. A clinking-glass "thank you" to my fellow co-organizers Cody Lukas, Jonas Jørgensen, Anca Horvath, and last but the most — to Elizabeth Jochum who put us all together to bring this event to life, as the lead producer and thinker behind it. 🦾 The masterful EDEN exhibition by Cody, Jonas, and Anca closed the conversation with a visceral statement on these themes—as only art can. So proud to be a part of the https://www.anthub.dk/ project! Check out some of the key takeaways in the comments! 👉🏼
