The Bodo Möller Chemie Group is entering into a partnership with the fully integrated carbon fiber manufacturer DowAksa. The cooperation agreement between the two companies allows Bodo Möller Chemie to extend its product portfolio to include extremely strong, stiff, and lightweight carbon fiber products. These products offer true added value, especially to clients in the high-tech sectors, railway vehicle manufacture, the automotive, aerospace, and wind turbine industries. It was an inspiring experience to see 3M Science.Applied to Life™ innovations and technologies in action. During our visit, we engaged in meaningful discussions about the transformative impact of AI, and autonomous systems, highlighting their role in shaping the industries of tomorrow. Talking about the Circle of Future, we explored how artificial intelligence and robotics are revolutionizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and unlocking new opportunities for automation. Our latest TechDialog in Heidelberg was a fantastic opportunity for professionals and technical experts to connect and explore sustainable advancements in industrial metal pretreatment and powder coating. Our participants gained valuable insights across a range of relevant topics in this field, including industrial surface cleaning and coating in metal processing, new generation coatings as the new standard in wet-chemical pre-treatment, and energy and resource efficiency in plant engineering. With our interactive concept, there also was the possibility to discuss individual problems with our experts and partners on site. A big thanks to everyone who joined us in Heidelberg, as well as to our partners and speakers for their valuable contributions. Welcome Dr. Christian Battenberg to Bodo Möller Chemie!   We are pleased to announce the recent onboarding of Dr. Christian Battenberg to our global team. Christian will serve as Executive Assistant and Global Vice President Plastics, focusing on driving growth for CASE, plastics, textile and additives lubricants.   Christian held multiple global leadership roles, most recently as Global Business Development Manager for Polymer Solutions. With nearly eight years at Clariant, he successfully developed market segment strategies for thermosets, e-mobility, and electronic applications. Before that, he conducted extensive research during his PhD at Fraunhofer LBF, in collaboration with the University of Darmstadt and Airbus, developing innovative additives and flame-retardant solutions for epoxy resin composites in aviation.   With his deep expertise in chemistry, product development, and market strategy, Christian will be instrumental in strengthening our capabilities.
