YUFE Challenge Teams offer you a unique three-month journey where a team is built around students and working with researchers, experts and citizens to deliver solutions for specific challenges. 🧐
📅Registration Deadline: 2nd March 2025, only 30 seats per Challenge!
🕑Duration: March 2025 - May 2025
It is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on entrepreneurial activity, work on real-world challenges and in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with students from various Academic Institutions. You will work from your home and be guided by academic mentors and experts. Can you convince the judges at the end? Your engagement contributes to a possible YUFE Professional Star. ⭐
In this call there are four Challenges:
1) I’m not lecturing you!: Many beginner university courses, especially those designed for future language teachers, take place in large lecture halls with up to 500 students. How can we make these lectures more interactive, engaging, and motivating for pre-service language teachers?
2) Challenging online Extreme and anti-Social Speech: Online hate and extreme speech are becoming more widespread and harmful than ever. This challenge calls for innovative and effective solutions to counteract harmful online discourse and its impact on individuals and communities.
3) Digitizing Archaeological Heritage: Given the large volume of information gathered from small archaeological sites, teams must propose strategies for digitization with the help of volunteers and then leveraging this data for future use.
4) Robotic 3D Printing (3DP) and Augmented Reality (AR)-Guided Assembly for Rapid Disaster Relief Shelters: Every year, millions of people lose their homes due to natural disasters. This challenge aims to revolutionize emergency shelter deployment by integrating cutting-edge technologie.
