The tailgate opens automatically and the luggage can be stowed away without the need for intermediate storage. 💡 ⚡️ More than 15 years ago, this was not a matter of course. At the IAA in 2009, we were one of the first suppliers to introduce touchless gesture control by foot movement. In the same year, our first tailgate drive went into series production. Today, we are one of the few suppliers of complete systems worldwide and the market leader in tailgate drives. We continue to #develop all components of the system. Our focus today is primarily on locally produced, cost-effective solutions. It's been almost 10 years since the foundation stone was laid for our plant in Prievidza on October 15, 2015. That's why we want to take a look at what has happened since then at Brose Slovakia. 🌍📍 Since the site opened in 2016, our location in Prievidza has developed into a #specialist for door systems. In addition to #production, the plant carries out important parts of the #development work in the door area, for example for power liftgates, systems for contactless opening and closing of liftgates, window regulator drives, compact modules and side door drives. ⚙️💡 A special celebration took place at Brose Slovakia last year in October. 🎉 The third Brose #KidsClub of our family-owned company officially opened its doors. In addition to a crèche and a kindergarten, the Kids Club also offers afternoon care with homework help, sports programs and various courses in the areas of technology, language and crafts. There are also a variety of childcare options during the vacation season to help working parents balance work and family life.

From Brose India, to Brose Srbija to Germany – Our project engineer Anand Patel has worked at all of these countries since joining Brose. 🌏️ Anand's journey in our family-owned company began in 2018 in the #Drives department at Brose in Pune. Thanks to his good performance during his 6-month internship, he secured a permanent position as a design engineer, first in India and then at our location in Belgrad in Serbia. In this position, he worked on the development of cooling fan modules. Anand has now been a project engineer for simulation in Oldenburg in Germany for a year. His #network at Brose and his practical #experience in design engineering in India and Serbia make him the ideal global contact for the #development and #simulation of cooling fan modules. 🗨️: "The opportunity to turn ideas into tangible products that improve the performance of a vehicle makes me passionate about my work. Some time ago, I was involved in the development of a cooling fan module for a Porsche and was then able to see the car with the component I had developed in real life. Such moments are exciting and motivate me."

Welcome to the Brose Lab! 🥼🎓 Since mid-November, there has been a Brose laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Nîs in Serbia.🎉 Our family-owned company has provided the necessary equipment and materials to enable students to receive optimum laboratory training and comprehensive preparation for their future working lives.⚙️💻 The classroom is modeled on the working environment at Brose, from the interior design to the technical equipment and has space for around 100 students. In addition, our colleagues from our electronics development department, together with the professors of automotive electronics, implemented a program for laboratory exercises. 👍 The Brose Lab is part of the cooperation between Brose Srbija and the University of Nîs, which has existed since 2022. 🚀 The aim of our sponsoring activities in the field of education is to convince talented students of Brose as an employer and to attract them to our company. We also support social and technical progress. As a global company, we take responsibility for social issues. Dominic Waldeier has been appointed as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). From now on, he will be responsible for the #commercial #division of the Brose Group with the functions Purchasing, Controlling, Information Systems, Finance & Tax and Auditing. After working for KPMG, the 50-year-old lawyer spent 16 years in the finance department of Bayer AG in Germany and abroad. In 2020 he moved to the Eberspächer Group GmbH & Co. KG in Esslingen, where he was commercial managing director from 2022. We welcome him to his new position in our family business and wish him a good start. 👏

Today we look across the Atlantic to Brose Tuscaloosa. Started in 2004 as a small plant with expertise in door modules in the middle of Alabama, the location has developed into a strategic hub for all our business divisions. 🌎 📍 A lot has happened since the site opened 20 years ago. With the first major expansion of the plant in 2011, Brose Tuscaloosa expanded its portfolio and was able to win significant new customers as a result. With the second expansion in 2018, the site grew by a further 7,400 square meters and a modern warehouse was added. Brose was also the only supplier in the region to open an employee canteen, which provides our colleagues with meals throughout the day. The commitment of our employees in Tuscaloosa does not go unnoticed, as the location has repeatedly won industry awards. From additive to excellence🚀 For the first time Brose showcases its innovative one-stop solution in 3D printing at this year’s Professional MotorSport World Expo. 🎉 Our comprehensive service covers every stage of the process, from consulting and engineering to production and precise finishing, offering tailored solutions for the motorsport industry. We present 3D-printed automotive components which are used in serial production for niche volumes and supersports cars. From idea to final component, Brose supports its customers with expert knowledge and cutting-edge technology. Excellence in innovation and collaboration are the hallmarks of a successful partnership. That's why we present our Supplier Awards to recognize the outstanding achievements of our suppliers in the categories of #sustainability, #quality and #innovation. This year's winners are: 🌱In the Sustainability category, aluminium supplier Speira won for exceeding our sustainability standard and helping to further reduce the carbon footprint of our products.  👌In the quality category, family-owned Craemer GmbH, a supplier of production materials, won for its high product quality and good cooperation for more than 30 years.  👌Also in the quality category, we honoured the haulage company Rauh for their on-time delivery, smooth logistics and proactive support in continuously improving our processes. 💡In the Innovation category, start-up Alpas AI stood out for its AI-based scouting software, which makes the search for suitable suppliers faster and more efficient.
