Last week's Euro NCAP UpDate provided a wealth of detailed information on the 2026 Euro NCAP rating, that are currently not available elsewhere. Volker Sandner presented 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 (including those for the HIII 95M) for the multitude of frontal impact tests that will be introduced. He also showed how 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 will be applied in the future. Although the changes are small, some of them can have a significant impact on the rating. In particular, there are some -𝟭𝟬 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 applied to the overall test score that have the potential to ruin a rating.
