Peractive® TAED (Tetraacetylethylenediamine) describes a range of effective bleach activators. In combination with sodium percarbonate (SPC) or H2O2 they enable the removal of bleachable stains from fabrics and dishes at temperatures from 30 to 60 °C. Additionally, they provide a high standard of hygiene in automatic dishwashing and laundry applications by the in-situ generation of peroxyacetic acid. Peractive® TAED bleach activators are produced with a high purity, in a solvent-free process with water as the only by-product. They are safe for consumers and the environment, have a low toxicological/ecotoxicological profile and are readily biodegradable. https://lnkd.in/e9_EvqFc
Excellent article on the differences between powder and liquid detergents. The use of TAED in powder formulations bring positive effects (hygiene and mild stain bleaching) that liquid formulations can´t.
