The Moment You Realize You Can Make a Difference Two weeks ago, we stepped into a classroom at HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration, joining a group of bachelor students as part of their semester-long journey to develop impact-driven strategies for their companies. But instead of focusing on business models or industry trends, we took a different approach—one that turned the lens inward. Together, we explored: 🔸 Imagine it’s 2030—what kind of future do you want to help create? And what’s your role in making it happen? 🔸What values guide the way you show up in your company? From there, the conversations shifted. Students working in different companies started mapping out challenges they might face in driving change—whether resistance from leadership, lack of resources, or uncertainty about where to start. But just as important, they identified the strengths and skills that could help them navigate those barriers. Through our discussions, they began to see how transformation goes beyond policies or corporate initiatives— and how it can start with their own actions and impact within the system. One student shared: "I found the session to be different than any other workshop I have done. It allowed me to rethink and motivated me to not only dream about my ambitions within my company, but actually take action to have an impact.” And that stuck with us. 42 ist die Antwort - nicht nur bei “Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis.” 😎 Auch für das Jahr 2025 bieten wir unseren Partnern eine ESG-Kooperation an: Partner-Unternehmen von uns bekennen sich gemeinsam eine bestimmte Zielzahl an Jugendlichen zu erreichen und zu inspirieren #WeInspire Was widerum eine bestimmte Zahl aktiver Inspirer erforderlich macht. Zum Start sind das: 42 Inspirereinsätze für 250 erreichte Jugendliche. Yay! 🚀 Unsere Erfahrungen aus den letzten Jahren zeigt aber auch: Es kann manchmal schwierig sein, im eigenen Unternehmen viele Inspirer ausfindig zu machen. Genau aus diesem Grund haben wir für 2025 eine Kooperation mit CEBRA Talent gestartet, um unser ESG-Angebot auf ein neues Niveau zu heben: Jedes ESG-Unternehmen darf zwei Mitarbeitende nominieren, die in den Genuss des CEBRA Talent -Coachings kommen und im gesamten Jahr in Workshops verschiedene Themen bearbeiten, z.B. hinsichtlich Mitarbeitenden-Motivation und -Wertschätzung. 🙌 “Mit CEBRA fördern wir Intrapreneure – Menschen, die nicht nur Verantwortung übernehmen, sondern den Wandel ihres Unternehmens aktiv mit gestalten. In unserem praxisorientierten Coaching und maßgeschneiderten Trainings fokussieren wir uns auf die Skills und das Mindset, das es braucht, um als Mitarbeitende*r wirklich etwas zu bewegen. 🦓 𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐬: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐄𝐅 2025 🌍 This week, we had the honour of representing CEBRA Talent at the World Economic Forum 2025 in #Davos. Needless to say that this was an inspiring and thought-provoking experience in itself with many critical topics being highlighted. But the two following themes stood out to us: 🦸 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 We attended the powerful session 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩, hosted by Catalyst Now. Zimkhitha Peter (CEO, Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropy) hit the nail on the head when she emphasized how systemic support is essential for scaling impact. She spoke about creating ecosystems that empower young people to step into their potential and drive meaningful change, highlighting that systemic transformation requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a long-term approach. This strikes a personal chord with us since unlocking young talent potential is at the heart of what we do. But to create a safe environment where young people can thrive, we need leaders who care — leaders who are ready to support talent as they grow into impactful leaders themselves. Which leads us to our second big highlight: attending a session hosted by GreenUp Switzerland. We had the privilege of listening to H.E. Professor Muhammad Yunus, Honorable Chief Advisor of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh showcasing: 🔮 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 Professor Yunus exemplified what authentic, humble, and caring leadership looks like. Through heartfelt stories of collaboration and collective action, he reminded us of the power of people coming together to create meaningful change. 🧡 This week was a powerful reminder that supporting the next generation and leading with purpose go hand in hand. Together, we can create a future where young people thrive, leaders inspire, and organizations transform from within.
