We all know how overwhelming pathfinding can be, with all the different opinions and pressure to make the 'right choice'. But perhaps it's not the task itself that's so difficult - it's how we think and feel about it. What if, with just a few small tools, you could start to feel more confident and even find joy in the journey of pathfinding? ✨ Last week we hosted our Confident Pathfinding workshop, a 90-minute journey that focused on the very first step in building confidence: understanding yourself. Together we explored what it means to start exactly where you are, discover your unique strengths and envision your future self. The group discussions that followed revealed powerful insights, and we were impressed by the shared aspirations of the participants to create value-driven careers 🚀 For those who couldn't join us live, here's something you can try this week: write down 2-3 strengths each day, whether they're qualities others recognize in you, tasks you enjoy, or moments when you feel most energized. This simple exercise is more powerful than it seems! Once you see your strengths on paper, you'll start to notice them in action. And that's where the magic starts. We are curious: what other tools do you find useful to increase your confidence in the pathfinding process? Last week, we had the opportunity to virtually attend the Inner Development Goals Summit 2024 in Stockholm, where leaders from various sectors came together to explore the intersection of inner development and outer impact. It was a truly inspiring experience, deepening our understanding of how the five dimensions of the IDGs can elevate intrapreneurship and increase its impact within organizations. One of the standout moments was Jennifer Garvey Berger's inspiring talk on "Creating Conditions for Real Collaboration." 🌍✨Jennifer's insights resonated deeply with us, particularly her emphasis on the transformative power of meaningful connections in collaboration. She reminded us that as leaders, colleagues, and humans in an office it’s our responsibility to see others from the heart, no matter what. Her words struck a chord: “We first worked on our relationships and then we got to work. And we did six days worth of work in an hour and a half. Why? Because we loved each other. This is what I'm here for. I'm here for you to think about listening to love, think about how you create the conditions for more love and connection in your life as a foundation for our capacity to collaborate and act.” 🧡🤝 Her powerful message reinforced the idea that fostering genuine relationships is essential for effective teamwork, driving innovation, and ultimately strengthening intrapreneurship. 🌞 A few days ago I had the opportunity to participate in the workshop "Designing your way through life : Design thinking for personal growth", organized by Marielen Winter and Livia Martins at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. Founders of CEBRA Talent, Marielen and Livia led a very interesting workshop that allowed me to put my personal and professional goals into perspective over several years. It was an opportunity to question myself, meet and exchange. Thank you to them for this moment that reminded me how much I love design. I can't wait to find a job of designer and get back to my passion !
