It's Data Privacy Week and at Clue we believe your body is your business–and so is your private health data. Tracking your cycle and keeping a private health record should only ever be empowering, not a risk you have to weigh up. With Clue, no matter where you are in the world, your data is always protected and you're always in control of how it's used. Clue is a period tracking app that has reproductive health down to a science.
Info
Clue is the #1 doctor-recommended period & cycle tracking app available on iOS, Android, and Apple Watch. Across the globe, more than 10 million active users rely on Clue to help understand their bodies better and keep their data safe and private. Clue’s mission is for women and people with cycles to make good choices for themselves, and live full lives not in spite of their biology, but in tune with it. Clue was co-founded in 2012 by a Danish female entrepreneur, Ida Tin, who is convinced that technology will profoundly change the future of family planning. Clue launched helloclue.com in February 2018 to help close the knowledge gap about the menstrual cycle—with information that’s accessible, serious, scientific, and empathetic. Numerous major media have greatly praised Clue, including TechCrunch (“Clue is the most underrated app ever”), BuzzFeed, Wired (“Hottest Startups 2015”), Cosmopolitan (“We love Clue”) and The Huffington Post (“Awesome”). The Berlin-based startup has the backing of prestigious investors such Union Square Ventures; Mosaic Ventures; Groupe Arnault, the controlling shareholder of LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton; Brigitte Mohn of Bertelsmann; and entrepreneurs from Spotify, SoundCloud and Dropbox.

In our latest survey, over 7,800 Clue users from around the world shared their cervical screening experiences. January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to highlight the importance of regular screenings. Cervical cancer rates are rising by 1.7% in women aged 30-44, but are falling by 11% in women aged 20-24, likely due to the HPV vaccination given to that generation in school. While cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers, it’s preventable. Screenings catch abnormal cells early, often stopping cancer before it starts. Want to see what we learned? When we kicked off the first Perimenopause Awareness Month in September last year, we found that 90% of surveyed Clue members felt unprepared and uninformed about this life stage. How can we make sure future generations are more Clue-d up about perimenopause? We think it starts with education *before* we’re actually in it. So this year, we’re collaborating with author of ‘What Fresh Hell Is This?’ Heather Corinna to bring you The Millennial’s Guide to Perimenopause. Because we want you (and ourselves, if we’re being honest here!) to be less confused by perimenopause than by the reappearance of low-rise jeans. Follow the series on Clue’s Instagram and look out for the free downloadable guide coming soon 👀 https://lnkd.in/ejTxyhkt
