Following Smau, our Co-founder Francesca presented our innovative energy sustainability solution at the Connected Germany event in Munich 🇩🇪. The enthusiasm from diverse industries was genuinely inspiring and highlighted the relevance of our work in today’s evolving market. This week has been incredibly active for the DC SMARTER team! 🚀 👉At the eco - Association of the Internet Industry event in Cologne, where we attended discussions on physical security in data centers, special attention was given to the NIS2 directive and the importance of protecting critical infrastructure – not only digitally but also physically. 🏢⛑ 👉At Connected Germany in Munich, we presented our innovative solution, #DCVision, connecting with industry experts and showcasing our contribution to Fiber and Telekom operators how they can get their asset inventory under control and gain efficiency. 💡 👉We wrapped up the week with a #CashWalk at Start2 Group where we introduced DC Smarter to investors. We attended Connected Germany in Munich last week. How was it? What type of event is it? Was it worth a visit? Here are some of our thoughts about the event. Though not the largest gathering, Connected Germany brought together a vibrant mix of vendors and telco reps, bustling both in the conference rooms and the trade show halls. The event’s size meant a good flow of attendees. Making connections? That's always on us. And here, our very own CTO, Alexander Dethof really shines — a true gem at drawing interest and engaging with the crowd. The event app was handy, keeping the agenda and attendee interactions smooth. The MOC Event Center — not to be confused with the main fairground, as reportedly happened to some people — was a typically great location for this type of event. For us, based in the DACH-area, the decision to send a couple of our team felt just right. This allowed for ample time to dive into keynote speeches, panel discussions, and yes, a bit of socializing at friendly booths. 🔑 Key takeaway(s)? While #fiber rollout in Germany is still in progress, pushing for smarter, faster deployment is essential to meet future demands. Networks are evolving to support increasingly demanding use cases — from holographic meetings in autonomous vehicles to collaborations in VR and interactions with real-time AI. No, that is not science-fiction anymore, it will more and more become our reality in a few years. This calls for robust, low-latency, and future-proof infrastructure. The point where we help. When big ISPs are talking about infrastructure, data-driven decisions, and enhanced customer experiences, we at AVEQ enable network operators rise to these challenges with our Surfmeter #QoE measurements, ensuring that networks are not just ready for the future but also optimized for the best customer experiences. 📆 Will we be back next year? Very likely. While Connected Germany is still growing to become a  “must-attend” event like ANGA COM, its moderate size and the mix of interests and growth make it a worthwhile calendar event for 2025 in the German telco market. Plus, we’re eager to check out its larger sibling, Connected Britain as well — sounds like a promising venture!
