Expanding Our HQ: Building Space for the Future! 👷♂️🚧 Over the past decades, we’ve continuously expanded and adapted our headquarters to meet the evolving needs of our company. Now, it’s time for the next step! 🚀 The section we’re working on was originally built in 2002 and served as a production facility until 2015. 2016, these operations were relocated across the main road to our new logistics center. We’re now transforming the former attic into 1,610 square meters of additional usable space for our current and future team members. A place designed to inspire innovation, foster collaboration, and support growth. 🙌🤩 The construction is still ongoing, and we’re excited to watch this transformation unfold. 🏆 CUBE Cup 2024 – A Season-Ending Highlight! 🥳 Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 250 guests to our CUBE headquarters for the awards ceremony of the 2024 CUBE Cup! 🏅 What makes the CUBE Cup so special? It brings together mountain bikers of all ages and skill levels – from young talent to seasoned pros. It’s a place where a shared passion for the sport connects us all, creating a community that celebrates the thrill of mountain biking. ❤️ The race series spans Bavaria and parts of the Czech Republic, offering diverse challenges each season: cross-country courses, exciting competitions, and the chance to earn points in categories from youth and hobby to elite levels. For us, it’s inspiring to see how the CUBE Cup unites such a wide range of bikers and fuels the love of the sport. 🚵♀️🗺️ The day kicked off with a tour of our production halls and testing labs, giving guests a unique look behind the scenes at CUBE. But the true highlight of the day was the awards ceremony! This year, our CUBE Factory Racing pros Kira Böhm (U23 Overall World Cup Champion 2024) and Max Hartenstern (7-time German Downhill Champion) took the stage to personally present the awards. Seeing these accomplished athletes hand over prizes, sign autographs, and connect with fans – especially the young riders – made for an unforgettable experience and celebrated the spirit of the CUBE Cup community. 💯🙌 A big thank you to all riders and, of course, a heartfelt thanks to the many moms, dads, and volunteers whose dedication and passion make the Cup possible. 🧑🎓 Sharing knowledge, growing together! 🚲💡 At CUBE, we believe in continuous development and improvement to offer the best products to our customers. Part of this commitment is ensuring that our knowledge is passed on to our dealers. That’s why several of our colleagues regularly train our dealers, making sure they are well-informed and always up to date with the latest developments in the bike industry. These sessions cover a range of topics, such as gear and equipment, insights into the Intermarché Wanty Team, and our latest innovations in bike technology. Helmut Joost from our it departement held a session together with Mario Fahlandt from Kubermatic about our journey to a modern IT infrastucture. 💻💡   📈 In simpler terms, the session was about how the IT sector is evolving from traditional server usage to a more modern, flexible approach known as container hosting. This new approach is like having a portable, self-sufficient system for your applications, making it easier and more efficient to manage and scale them. This has significant implications for industries like manufacturing, where efficiency and scalability are key. Hence, the comparison to revolutionizing bicycle manufacturing - just as a bicycle needs to be lightweight yet robust, so too does our IT infrastructure. 🚴💼 Thank you to Helmut and the entire team for your relentless dedication!
