📊 A Comprehensive Analysis of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Trends By 2050, South Asia and Latin America, along with the Caribbean, are projected to experience the highest AMR-related death toll. The elderly (ages 70 and over) are expected to have the highest rise in AMR deaths, while younger age groups (particularly children under 5) may see a continued reduction in AMR mortality that can be averted with improved infection control, #AntibioticStewardship, antimicrobial research targeting Gram-negative bacteria and vaccination efforts. The time to act is NOW to prevent the worst impacts of AMR. #Unyvero #AMR
