Mercedes-Benz Trucks has once again sent the two near-production prototypes of our eActros 600 on a testing tour through Northern Europe – but this time during the cold season in sometimes very wintry conditions. ❄️🚛🔋 Of the around 6,500 kilometers covered, over half of the tour took place on identical routes to the northern part of the almost seven-week #EuropeanTestingTour that took place in summer 2024. In terms of decarbonizing transportation, we do not just talk. We deliver – and start with ourselves. I’m really proud of our team for winning the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA)) Logistics Award 2025 for our "Electrify Inbound Logistics" project. 🏆 The ambitious goal: Electrifying 100 percent of the delivery traffic with production material under our own freight responsibility at our four production sites in Germany. And thereby, making a significant part of our direct supply chain emission-free by using zero-emission vehicles and installing in-house charging infrastructure. This award values a small but important contribution to the enormous challenge of decarbonization in trucking. Because it shows what is possible if you have the will to make it happen. However, to achieve the ambitious CO2 reduction targets for the commercial vehicle industry in Europe, we need continued efforts from all stakeholders. Tomorrow Daimler Buses GmbH is celebrating its 30th anniversary. 🥳 On February 23,1995, #EvoBus GmbH was established by a merger of the former Daimler‑Benz AG bus division and the former Karl #Kässbohrer Fahrzeugwerke GmbH bus division, based in Ulm. Since then, Mercedes-Benz and #Setra brand buses have been operating under one roof. In 2023, the company was renamed Daimler Buses GmbH. Our wholly owned subsidiary is responsible for European bus activities and is part of the global Daimler Buses segment of our entire Group. RIZON Truck, our all-electric brand for the North American market, recently handed over its first dump body truck in Canada. The RIZON #e18L goes to Villamar Construction in Victoria, British Columbia, and will be used on custom home-buildings projects. 🏗️🏠️ Additional 18 units will be delivered to various customers, among others to municipalities, rental providers and logistics companies, in British Columbia & Quebec in the upcoming weeks. 🚚🔋 Did you know? A few days ago, the one millionth heavy-duty engine (HDEP) rolled off the production line at our Mercedes-Benz plant in Mannheim. The heavy-duty engine generation is used in all of our heavy-duty conventional commercial vehicles. 🚛🚛🚛 Did you know? At the end of January, at our Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth the handover of 14 Actros L trucks with the new ProCabin to Tevex Logistics GmbH was celebrated. ⭐️🚛 The #Logistics company from North Rhine-Westphalia specialises in refrigerated transport and supplies food retailers throughout Germany. The vehicle handover is the first step in a comprehensive renewal of the company’s fleet. The order totals 150 #ActrosL vehicles, which will be delivered this year, and represents a milestone in the long-standing partnership between Tevex and Mercedes-Benz Trucks. A further 50 Actros L are under option. The new Actros models are not only distinguished by their striking, white and red #Tevex decals, but also come with plenty of innovations. The biggest eye-catcher is the new #ProCabin cab, which reduces fuel consumption through improved aerodynamics and thus contributes to increased efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions.
