Today TER Plastics POLYMER GROUP would like to introduce the POM Duracon H140-54C, from our long term partner Polyplastics. The H140-54C is a POM copolymer perfectly fitting FDM #applications. Some of its benefits compare to standards POM are high flow, high #strength modulus and #fuel resistant. Key features of this material are: excellent stability against wide range of gasoline fuels, 10% higher modulus and strength than general purpose POM and higher #flowability that reduces molded stress. Fuel resistance tests for H140-54C have been conducted against various fuel types to meet #global fuel #specifications. As additional features, H140-54C can be applied in the same manner as current POM materials, in terms of mold shrinkage and cycle time. Creep rupture strength of H140-54C is slightly better than competitive POM’s.
