Goodbye Lilium, see you later! #Lilium did not fail because of the technology. Nor was it due to a lack of knowledge, a lack of expertise or a lack of enthusiasm. Ultimately, political power games and collective disinformation destroyed confidence in Germany's most progressive #deeptech company. While first-class tech-investors and an overwhelming number of impatiently waiting airlines are rubbing their eyes at what is happening in Germany, the government is promoting the construction of gas pipelines and smoky cruise ships. And as of 6th November the government even burned down itself. Lilium is too far gone to give up at this point. The #jet is too promising not to be built. The technology will undoubtedly catapult the electrification of #aviation a long way forward, while the infrastructure required for this is downright modest. Lilium jets will be needed in their thousands over the next few years to meet demand. Where will they be produced? Has Germany disqualified itself as a production location for #advancedairmobility #AAM ? Too many know-it-alls and pessimists? Envious and spoilsports? There is certainly no shortage of experts and enthusiasts who want to lend a hand. It was a particular pleasure and a rare honor for #designface to help #recruiting such a great team of #talents and experts who were in the process of bringing a revolutionary #aircraft to production. We are sure that Lilium will continue with great passion and we are eagerly looking forward to the next steps to be part of it again! See you later, Lilium.
