𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞-𝐒𝐀𝐅 🌱 We fully support the position letter sent by Project SkyPower to the European Commission, urging stronger policy action on e-SAF. While the sub-mandate for e-SAF in the ReFuelEU Aviation regulation is a step in the right direction, further action is needed to secure investments and accelerate production. E-SAF is one of the most scalable solutions for decarbonising European aviation. It presents a strategic opportunity for Europe to enhance energy resilience, strengthen its industrial base, create high-value jobs, and lead in cleantech innovation. However, despite nearly 30 announced projects, no facility has yet reached a Final Investment Decision (FID). Urgent policy interventions are required to unlock its full potential. We urge policymakers to prioritise e-SAF in the Clean Industrial Deal, provide revenue certainty for producers, and establish a clear, long-term regulatory framework. By taking these steps, the EU can drive investment, scale e-SAF production, and ensure the success of ReFuelEU Aviation. #SustainableAviation #eSAF #ReFuelEU #CleanAviation #DeutscheAircraft

🤝 Last week, we welcomed the Akaer team to our HQ for the Critical Process Review and Tooling CDR. During this meeting, we focused on the fuselage cockpit section to enhance processes, refine tooling, and ensure seamless integration. In a global supply chain, regular face-to-face meetings are crucial for improving alignment, accelerating decision-making, and achieving first-time-right execution.
