Dante-enabling or 36 channel showroom Trinnov Audio Altitude32. 😎 Just take two of the 16 channel TASCAM Europe ML-16D analog-Dante-analog converters (there´s also a 32 channel option available) and one 4-channel AES/EBU-Dante converter for the digital +4 channels. Thanks to the DB25 Tascam connectors on both the Altitude32 and the Tascam ML-16D, you get nice and clean cabling and then you´re ready to distribute all 36 channels via your local network or feed it into Dante-amplifiers like our Powersoft Unica and Quattrocanali. Well, they ended up with four awards this year, the category mentioned above being among them. 😌 Congratulations MACBEE! Anyway, we´re already preparing for next year´s Awards to make it happen this time. (this is basically what the Germany saying at the beginning of my post means - "get back on your feet, tidy up, continue running") Thank you CEDIA EMEA for the great evening! Today´s the day! Public release of the eagerly awaited new Trinnov Audio WaveForming firmware for the Altitude platform. We were involved for over a year now in the testing and further improvement of this groundbraking technology as one of the beta partners of Trinnov Audio. We are designing and building home cinemas based on Double-Bass Arrays (DBA) for almost a decade now and were honestly sceptical what the guys from Trinnov wanted to improve further on this concept. But with the first test installation in our showroom, we were really impressed by the improvement. Low frequency seat-to-seat consistency was excellent and the ability to adjust the characteristics of the bass is something which is simply not possible with a DBA. Over the last couple of months, the algorithm was further improved and minimum requirements in terms of amount of subwoofers and expected locations could be lowered to accomodate a wider range of installations. Just testing a client´s Altitude32 we received back from Trinnov Audio. It´s a six year old unit that received a warranty upgrade. It received a lot of love from Trinnov including new components and even a new cover. Together with the new 5 years warranty, the client receives back basically a new unit. 🚀 As the unit was in Paris for the service anyway, the client opted for a channel upgrade to full 32(+4) channels, an HDMI-card upgrade to HDMI2.1 and new DAC-boards in addition to the warranty upgrade. Thanks Trinnov Audio for providing this world-class support and also Medialantic for supporting the logistics. 👍
