The members set the topics and work on the open source solutions. In addition, we have the Head Office who support the members in their day-to-day operations.  💡 The Head Office staff comprises of both experts in the fields of logistics, IT, project management, communications and administration. They facilitate and support the members through coordination of the Working Groups, member acquisition and onboarding, networking and communication activities, events planning, and so forth. They are your first point of contact for questions, comments and requests concerning the Foundation and its Support Association, Open Logistics e. Hierzu beauftragt die IHK zu Dortmund als Projektträgerin des Innovationsnetzwerks die in Dortmund ansässige Digital Hub Management. Dominik Stute, Maria Beck und Thorsten Huelsmann unterzeichneten die Verträge in unseren Clubräumlichkeiten. 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗿𝗲𝘁? 🤔 👉 Der innoclub wird von öffentlichen Institutionen und privatwirtschaftlichen Unternehmen unterstützt. Dank des finanziellen Supports unserer Partnerunternehmen werden Start-ups für ein Jahr mit einem Fellowship im Wert von 10.000€ gefördert. 👉 Die Digital Hub Management (DHM) wird künftig als administrative Schnittstelle zwischen Unterstützer*innen und innoclub Fellows agieren und bspw. die Ein- und Auszahlungen von Sponsorings und Stipendien managen. „Mit Beauftragung der Digital Hub Management professionalisieren wir alle operative Prozesse im innoclub und machen unser Projekt fit für die Zukunft. 📣 That's awesome - MotionMiners GmbH from the Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund wins the de:hub award of the Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub) The de:hub Pitch Night brought together up-and-coming start-ups, investors and leading minds in digital change in 2025. Ten start-ups presented their innovative ideas yesterday evening in #Karlsruhe as part of the de:hub annual event. A renowned jury of investors selected the winners together with the audience. The event, moderated by Meike Neitz, was opened by Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck and Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Finance Dr. Danyal Bayaz. Sascha Kaczmarek presented the company from #Dortmund, which he did very convincingly as always! 🙌 🚀 MotionMiners has developed the so-called Motion-Mining® technology. The technology enables automated process analysis and optimisation of manual work processes in #logistics and #manufacturing with the help of software and hardware. The company is a spin-off of the Fraunhofer IML and is part of the innovation ecosystem of Digital Hub Logistics #Dortmund facilitated by Digital Hub Management. On the contrary, you can use open source components to develop closed code software products and sell your end product for a profit. Today we see many companies such as Google, Amazon, eBay, IBM, etc. developing applications that run on open source software for their own business needs. 💡 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? Once you modify or extend the open source software for distribution purposes, you are then responsible for the software under a particular open source license. It is important for you to examine the specific license and use the one that works for your specific business model. The Open Logistics Foundation License (OLFL-1.3) offers flexibility for companies, allowing them to use our open source code as a standard to customise and build on top.
