DIOPTIC supports "Physics in Advent" once again! 🎁🎄 We are excited to continue our tradition of sponsoring Physics in Advent (PiA), an incredible initiative that brings science closer to young minds. From December 1st to 24th, daily experiments, wrapped up in the spirit of an Advent calendar, invite participants to explore physics in a playful way. The participants do the experiments and answer a question on the PiA website. With simple household materials, these experiments make science accessible, engaging, and educational. Why do we support PiA? Because inspiring curiosity and encouraging the next generation of scientists aligns with our values at DIOPTIC. Last year, PiA set a new record with over 70,000 participants — and we’re thrilled to be part of such a growing movement. The participants had the chance to win over 1,000 amazing prizes, from books and experimental kits to flights in gliders and even a trip to watch NBA games in Dallas! 🏀✈️ Register for free on the PiA website and start experimenting this December: https://lnkd.in/eEDR9euN #DIOPTIC #PhysikImAdvent #ScienceForKids

Achieving precision in optical quality control When it comes to testing optical components, precision is key. That’s why we developed WAVOS — a versatile system designed to evaluate the quality of glass and plastic optics by measuring the transmitted light field with exceptional accuracy. WAVOS performs high-precision measurements of the angular field and wavefront, making it ideal for both large individual components and batch inspection. This flexibility allows for efficient quality control across a range of optical components, supporting consistent standards in production. Curious how WAVOS can support your optical quality control? ➡️ Discover more here: https://lnkd.in/eNi7aRiK #DIOPTIC #WAVOS #OpticalQuality #PrecisionMeasurement

Tired of the manual effort in surface quality control? For precision optics manufacturers and thin-film coating specialists, optical surface quality can make all the difference in performance. Manual inspections, however, are resource-intensive and rely heavily on skilled inspectors, who are increasingly hard to find. That’s where ARGOS matrix steps in. Our automated scratch/dig inspection system streamlines surface quality control, delivering consistent, objective, and reproducible measurements. In addition, all results are documented. ✅ Want to see how ARGOS matrix could support your quality standards? Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eWTnTWCB #DIOPTIC #ARGOSmatrix #OpticalInspection

What an event! DIOPTIC Inc joined The Institute Of Optics' Industrial Associates program last week to meet University of Rochester and RIT students. The event was an excellent opportunity to connect with talented optics and photonics students and to introduce them to our work in optical inspection systems. Kaitlin Dunn and Valentina Einspieler represented DIOPTIC and had productive conversations with students and fellow industry professionals. We look forward to building on the connections we made! ☺️ #DIOPTIC #Optics #Photonics #OpticalInspection
