Last week a part of our headquarters in Ratingen turned into a buzzing hub of innovation and collaboration. The MobilityEXPO offered our colleagues an in-depth look at our products and services, with a special focus on our customers. The fair was a fantastic platform to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and gain hands-on experience with our portfolio. The highlight of the day: The quiz, where attendees had the chance to win one of the stylish DKV Mobility Bluetooth headphones! 🎧 A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to this amazing event! More than 670 colleagues joined our celebration and experienced an incredible event, brilliantly moderated by Ilka Groenewold, including a festive three-course dinner, inspiring speeches by our management and a night to remember on the dancefloor. With engaging panel discussions, award ceremonies, and an expo featuring top industry players, it’s a key event for the industry. During the event our colleagues from our Romanian subsidiary and Smart Diesel united to highlight our market-leading position in Romania. Claudia Barbu contributed as a panel expert and shared insights on toll and CO2 regulation changes, as her engagement helped to position us as the most reliable expert in the field of European changes affecting Romania. Today, Jan Fischer, owner and Chairman of the DKV Mobility Administrative Board, donated nine artworks by the renowned Düsseldorf artist Konrad Lueg to the Kunstpalast Düsseldorf museum. Plus, a tenth piece will be entrusted as a long-term exhibit! At the donation ceremony, Jan Fischer shared: "Making art accessible to society is a cause close to my heart. The fact that our company has developed so successfully is also due to the location and its environment in North Rhine-Westphalia, where my family has been involved in business for generations. Today, with this donation to the Kunstpalast, I would like to express our thanks and our connection to the region.” The donation includes iconic pieces such as “Praying Hands” (Betende Hände, 1963), “Bockwurst on a Paper Plate” (Bockwürste auf Pappteller, 1962/63) und “Hanger” (Bügel,1963), which were central to the “Living with Pop – A Demonstration for Capitalist Realism” exhibition. As part of our commitment to fostering cultural engagement, we also launched a new employee program in collaboration with the Kunstpalast.
