Direttissima is delighted to announce its third partner, Philipp Bolliger. Philipp brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the team alongside Alois Flatz and Christopher Hoffmann. Philipp holds a PhD in Distributed Systems and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, both from the world-renowned ETH Zurich. He was the founder and CEO of two IoT companies, both of which he led to successful exits in the last decade: Koubachi was acquired by Gardena/Husqvarna in 2015 and Thingstream was acquired by u-blox in 2020. Together we are excited to set in motion the creation of a new DACH-focussed growth equity fund to build the European tech leaders of tomorrow.

Walter Van Uytven, who recently joined the board of directors at Hololight, is a technology software and go-to-market expert. For Forbes, he now gave his view on the state and challenges of Enterprise XR. The key learnings are clear: - XR technologies (VR/AR) are no longer niche tools but vital for corporate strategies. - XR Streaming offloads heavy processing to servers, enabling high-quality visuals on low-powered devices while supporting real-time collaboration. This is exactly what enterprises need to handle large industrial datasets, to get to wider adoption. - Data security challenges and the fragmented application landscape hinder scalability and enterprise-wide deployment. This is solved via XR Platforms that streamline scalability, offering a central hub for apps and simplifying IT management across devices. Walter, it's great to have you on board with us! And, as you say: "The future of enterprise XR is bright." 💡 CC Christopher Hoffmann Philipp Bolliger Alois Flatz Jennifer Mack

Yesterday's Peaks & Waves Technology Summit on "Digital Transformation through AI" was a fantastic success! Co-hosted together with schwarzenberg.tech GmbH, we were thrilled to bring together thought leaders, tech pioneers, and exciting scale-ups and startups to explore the future of AI-driven innovation. It was great to see such insightful contributions and engaging discussions from industry experts, and we want to give a special shoutout to the startups that showcased their innovative solutions (CrateDB, SafeAD, Blinkin, Kontrol, to name a few). Looking forward to continued collaboration and building on this momentum! CC Alois Flatz Philipp Bolliger

🥽 Engaging Morning at Flatz Hoffmann! At Flatz Hoffmann, all our investors are entrepreneurs and family business owners. As part of our commitment "From Entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs," we hosted a breakfast event yesterday with one of our portfolio companies, Hololight. The event aimed to facilitate meaningful discussions and explore potential business opportunities. In addition to our investors, we invited heads of innovation departments from nearby companies to join us in understanding how Hololight's solutions could benefit their operations - and even experience state-of-the-art AR. We were fortunate to have ENGIE, one of Hololight's longstanding customers, join us as well. Engie shared real examples of how Hololight has helped them transform their product development and prototyping processes, providing valuable insights into the tangible impact of industrial AR/VR solutions. It was a productive session, further demonstrating the practical value of collaboration and innovation. We're excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to continuing our journey of growth and partnership. Thank you very much Florian Haspinger, Luis Bollinger, Jörn Stiegelmeier and Christian Paffenholz for the great presentation and demonstration!
