As the year draws to a close, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible milestones we’ve achieved together in 2024. 🌟 This year, we expanded our reach to over half of Kenya’s counties with our solution, paving the way for countless learners to unlock their potential. We also took bold steps forward, launching pilots in Nigeria and Pakistan and announcing our decision to open source our whole platform. These achievements would not have been possible without governments committed to improving education and the unwavering support of our partners, colleagues, and the broader education community – thank you! 🙏 Here’s to a joyful holiday season filled with reflection, connection, and hope for the future. Wishing you all happiness, health, and success in the new year! The EIDU Team

EIDU hat dies direkt geteilt
Exciting conversation coming up on open sourcing: Lea Simpson, Innovation Director at EdTech Hub, connects with Bernd Roggendorf, Founder and CTO of EIDU, a Berlin-based social enterprise that recently announced it was open-sourcing its proprietary platform. How does this approach work, and what are the potential roadblocks? This conversation explores the mechanics of open-source scaling, asking: ➡ How does open sourcing work in practice—and what are the implications to EIDU’s business model? ➡How does the EIDU team reconcile the promise of global collaboration with the realities of adapting to local contexts? ➡What’s at stake if this approach fails, and what are your biggest hopes for its success? The idea is to have an interactive and dynamic discussion—starting now—tell us what you would like us to cover in this discussion. Sign Up! 👇🏽

We're thrilled to share that Forbes has just highlighted our mission and recently published open-source announcement in an insightful article! Julia Brodsky dives into our commitment to empowering educators, parents, and communities globally through collaborative, accessible tech solutions. This piece also illustrates the profound impact open-source technology can have on education... This is why we decided to unlock our proprietary source code over the next years, making it freely available to and modifiable by third parties for the sake of democratizing learning opportunities – and fostering a more equitable future for all. 📖 Read the full article here and join us on this journey: https://lnkd.in/e2XM45Fy #EducationForAll #EdTech #OpenSource #ImpactDriven #EducationEquity #EIDU
