We singned just lately with HNA Aviation Group Co., Ltd., a leading aviation player in China, an MOU which covers a strategic cooperation framework agreement for A330P2F conversions. EFW and HNA Aviation Group will commence their collaboration by converting an initial batch of A330 aircraft from HNA Aviation Group’s A330 fleet. The first conversion is scheduled to take place at EFW’s conversion facility in Shanghai in the first half of 2025 with an option to continue with a second aircraft in the second half. The remaining aircraft of the batch will be converted at a subsidiary of HNA Aviation Group in China after the according conversion facility has been set up. "With the rapid recovery of the global aviation logistics market and the booming development of cross-border e-commerce business, the demand for long-range wide-body freighters is increasing", said Ding Yongzheng, Chairman of HNA Aviation Group. "HNA Aviation Group has been operating the A330 fleet on a large scale for many years, with a solid operational foundation. The cooperation with EFW is a cornerstone in achieving mutual benefits, bringing new opportunities and added value to the aviation market." “We are happy to enter into an agreement on A330P2F conversion with HNA Aviation Group, one of the largest aviation groups in China,” said Jordi Boto, CEO of EFW. “We look forward to working with our latest strategic partner to tap the growing Chinese market and beyond, and to better support the growing global demand for air cargo with our widebody P2F solution.” #EFW #Elbeflugzeugwerke #A330P2F #conversion #aircargo #freight #freighter Airbus Aircraft

One hundred - what a milestone! We just re-delivered our number 100 converted freighter aircraft of the new generation of Airbus conversion freighter. The widebody P2F aircraft, an A330P2F, was converted at our partner's site in China. To date, 49 A330P2F, 47 A321P2F and 4 A320P2F converted by EFW have joined the global fleet of Airbus freighter aircraft. Over the past 12 months, the growing global fleet of EFW’s converted freighter aircraft have performed a total flight distance of some 100 million flight kilometres. “The redelivery of our 100th Airbus P2F aircraft is a great milestone that is made possible by working closely together with our programme partners, customers and suppliers as a team,” said Jordi Boto, CEO of EFW. “Over the years, we have steadily built a strong global presence for our Airbus P2F programmes. Today, we have converted aircraft that are registered in all continents, while our P2F aircraft are flying in key regions across the world." “Seeing the growing number of Airbus P2F converted aircraft serving cargo markets around the world on short- and medium-haul routes makes us proud. Each converted freighter aircraft is based upon a proven Airbus platform, providing operators and investors a very appealing option of repurposing passenger aircraft for freight carriage”, highlights Crawford Hamilton, Head of Freighter Marketing at Airbus. #EFW #Elbeflugzeugwerke #P2F #conversion #freighter #aircargo #A321 #A330 #A320 Wolfgang Schmid Hendrik Nötzold Stephanie Aeschlimann Torsten Kuehn Carolin Krause Nicolas Ibarra Kai Mielenz Anke Lemke Kadir PESINCI Mohamed El Sayed Crawford Hamilton Oliver von Tronchin Paul Meijers Andreas Hermann ST Engineering Airbus Airbus Aircraft

#sustainability #kinder #nachhaltigkeit #luftfahrt #aerospace Kai Mielenz Emily Schlicht Michaela Koschak

The first-ever! This A321P2F registered in Brazil to be operated as the first Airbus conversion freighter in South America just arrived with Azul Cargo. Along with the redelivery to customer AerCap which is leasing the aircraft to Azul Cargo, EFW received the Validation of its STC for A321P2F from Brazilian Aviation Authority ANAC. This is adding an important piece to a puzzle as our conversion programs are now validated by major aviation authorities from all continents, enabling us to offer aircraft conversions, registrations and operations across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. Prior to ANAC’s validation of our STC, A321P2F aircraft in the Americas were registered in North America, flying cargo to U.S. destinations as well as several countries in Middle America. The A330P2F, EFW's widebody freighters registered in the Americas, serve primarily domestic routes in the U.S. and Mexico, followed by routes connecting North America with South America and Asia. Over 10% of EFW converted P2F aircraft worldwide in operation are registered in the Americas and have performed over 4.000 flights in the past 12 months. #EFW #Elbeflugzeugwerke Airbus Aircraft #A321P2F #A330P2F #A320P2F #MRO ST Engineering Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras Azul Cargo Express Jan Zöppel Felix Schmieder Stephanie Aeschlimann Hendrik Nötzold Kai Mielenz Anke Lemke Felipe Zboril Dario Matsuguma William Lara Reiltin Power Paul Morris Katharina Wambach Oliver von Tronchin Martin Fendt ANAC - Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil
