2024 - A Year of Challenges and Successes at ELBJETS ✈️🌍 As we approach the end of the year, we proudly reflect on another extraordinary year. 2024 has been a year of growth and expansion, and we’ve had the privilege of flying to many exciting destinations. Truly Happy About This Partnership ☀ We had a wonderful stay at Castell Son Claret in late August this summer in Mallorca. It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Björn Spaude and his team, and discovering this stunning, dream-like property. It’s truly refreshing to work with partners who share the same commitment to detail. ✈ UP IN THE AIR ✈ Earlier this year, at an event at our sister hotel, THE FONTENAY Hamburg, we were introduced to the Managing Director Alexander Müller from ELBJETS GmbH founded in April 2021 in Hamburg's HafenCity. Interestingly, one of the most popular routes is from Hamburg to Palma de Mallorca, with one in three ELBJETS GmbH flights landing or taking off from the island. This makes ELBJETS GmbH an ideal partner for Castell Son Claret and our most discerning customers demanding maximum flexibility and personalization when travelling. Being an island hotel, we are strongly dependent on good flight connections to sustain our business. But flying is among the least sustainable ways to travel due to its high carbon footprint and we therefore need to understand the development and innovation of business aviation. On selected flights, ELBJETS GmbH offers the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) - a new technology that is gaining traction. This fuel can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 80% as it is produced from sustainable resources such as used oils or organic waste. The availability of SAF is currently limited and the international aviation industry is continuously working to promote this more sustainable solution further.
