More than a ‘corporate benefit’ - table soccer has a long tradition at Elektror From the managing director to the trainee - when it comes to table soccer, everyone at Elektror is involved. At the football table, hierarchical boundaries disappear because it's all about reflexes, tactical skill and the necessary bit of luck. Every point is fought for - but always with fun. Since 2016, three company-wide tournaments have been played every year for the coveted Elektror Cup. Training takes place every day during the lunch break. Client AIRpplications: Thermal exhaust air purification with fans from Elektror Burning exhaust gases with super-hot air: In thermal oxidation, pollutants are converted from the exhaust air into harmless substances through combustion. The right air mixture is important here. In a large air purification plant in Finland, four of our CFM1, CFH3 and CFXH2 centrifugal fans blow fresh and exhaust air into the plant, distribute the combustion air and ensure the necessary air circulation. We have developed and manufactured the steel fans specifically for the required operating points of the system. Draught in the blast freezer with Elektror fans - AIRpplications Blast freezing preserves food and protects vitamins and flavour. The faster the food is frozen, the better. It is particularly fast with -196 °C cold liquid nitrogen.   Our engineers have developed a specially customised fan for a manufacturer of deep-freezing systems with nitrogen. The fan extracts the nitrogen at the end of the system and thus ensures a constant draught. This distributes the injected nitrogen evenly over the frozen food.   To prevent icing, Elektror engineers have equipped the fan with an impeller with straight blades.
