Here’s a glimpse into what they bring to the table: David joins us as #SalesManager with a background in management and technology, coupled with experience in SaaS, AI, and data center market development in the energy sector. He’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our customers and driving business growth. ⛰️ Outside the office, David can be found cycling, hiking, or skiing. Florian joins our #ProjectManagement team with a background in Computer Science and Technology Management. Having founded ventures in energy innovation and quantum computing, he brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on experience. Welcome aboard Christian Buckl and Ioannis Georgopoulos our newest members at Entrix! 👋 Christian joins our team as #HeadOfSoftware, bringing a wealth of experience from his years in Silicon Valley. Having held key roles at Apple and Lyft, Christian has honed his expertise in leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering cutting-edge software solutions. His deep understanding of technology, focus on building a culture of excellence and passion for innovation make him a perfect fit to drive our software development to the next level. 🏔️ Outside of work, Christian loves spending time with his family, planning their next holiday adventures, and enjoying the mountains—whether hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. Ioannis joins Entrix and will #lead our #Finance function, where he will refine and spearhead our financial planning and operational finance fronts. Ioannis worked for years in the commodities trading industry (ADM), but after his MBA degree, he pivoted to Finance roles. Ioannis joined Restaurant Brands International in Switzerland, were he more recently served as a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis. 🌍 Ioannis has worked or volunteered in 10 different countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. 🚴 He loves hiking, cycling, and claims to be a meat dry-aging and cold-smoking afficionado (however, still working on this skillset)! ⚡ You could be the next one we feature! Aquila Clean Energy EMEA x Entrix: We are excited to announce the partnership for two new BESS projects with a total of 106 MW and 212 MWh 🔋🤝 Aquila Clean Energy EMEA has launched two of Germany’s most advanced and largest battery energy storage systems (#BESS), partnering with Entrix to optimise their operation and market participation as they enter the German energy market. Located in Strübbel, Schleswig-Holstein, and Wetzen, Lower Saxony, these two projects will actively participate in the full stack of energy markets. This includes providing ancillary services such as #FCR (Frequency Containment Reserve) and #aFRR (Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve), as well as trading in the #DayAhead (DA-A), #IntradayAuction (ID-A), and #IntradayContinuous (ID-C) markets. These facilities are the first of 14 planned BESS projects by Aquila Clean Energy EMEA in Germany, which together will exceed 900 MW in capacity. They are part of the company’s expansive 4.5 GW battery storage portfolio spanning Europe, showcasing its commitment to advancing the energy transition.
