Today we would like to welcome Kaan Büyükmurat to the Energy team! He will contribute to help push the boundaries of what is possible in energy technology to help shape the future of patient transportation. 1. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙟𝙤𝙗 𝙖𝙩 𝙀𝙍𝘾? As a working student at ERC, I am excited to support the Energy team in the advancement of high voltage distribution systems. My role involves creating and implementing test cases for the Operation Page and diving into R&D projects that push the boundaries of what's possible in energy technology. It's exciting to be at the forefront of innovation, developing solutions that drive the future of sustainable energy! 2.   𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢?  One of the biggest challenges I'm taking on right now is building expertise in a new field for me: high-voltage battery technology. However, I see this as a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow. By leveraging my strong background in engineering principles, staying curious, and approaching each challenge with determination and patience, I am confident that I can master this field and make significant contributions to my team and ERC's mission. 3.   𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙍𝘾? I earned my degree in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and spent three years as a process engineer before joining ERC. I’m deeply passionate about contributing to enhancing carbon neutrality, and my work during those years helped optimize factory operations to reduce fuel and power consumption. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Process and Energy Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. 4.   𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪?  Being part of ERC is incredibly inspiring because it means contributing to groundbreaking innovations in energy and technology. I was amazed when I first saw the eVTOL developed by ERC —it showed me that this company is shaping the future. To be a part of such a visionary team means I get to work in pioneering sustainable solutions that can have a profound impact on our world.
