Grupo DKV is responding to the increasing demand for private insurance coverage in Spain by offering a unique digital health solution – Personal Doctor. Personal Doctor is a digital health insurance that allows policyholders to choose a family doctor who knows the patient, refers them to specialists and diagnostic tests as needed, and offers prevention plans. Policyholders also have a health assistant at their side who, for example, obtains authorisations and manages doctor's appointments. 🩺 This form of digital health insurance is based on an app that can be used to organise everything needed for comprehensive healthcare. For example, patients can contact their family doctor via chat or video call, view upcoming appointments and find everything related to their health and policies in one place. 📱 Thanks to Pilar Abós, Jose-Ramon Lamenca, Dr. Jhoan Silva Jaimes MD ERGO intends to be a digital leader in the insurance industry by 2025 – both in Germany and in its core international markets. In today’s digital landscape, GenAI is not just a trend, it is an integral part of our daily interactions and decision-making processes. While we enjoy the benefits of this technology, there are challenges we should consider. 🤖 A recent article on //next sheds light on two significant phenomena related to GenAI: hallucinations and biases. These terms may sound technical, but their implications are relevant to all of us. Hallucinations refer to the ability of LLMs to generate information that appears plausible yet is not based on real data. Biases, on the other hand, can arise when the data used to train the model reflects skewed perspectives. Nicolas Konnerth, Head of Conversational AI at ERGO and an expert in AI ethics, emphasises the importance of addressing these issues head-on.
