ESA BIC Bavaria promotes companies with disruptive products and digital businesses in areas including but not limited to robotics, mobility, automotive, aviation, and satellites. Since 2004, AZO Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen through its ESA BIC Bavaria has supported more than 233 start-ups creating more than 3,300 high-tech jobs in Bavaria and involving upwards of EUR 2 billion in investments to date. Additionally, two ESA BIC alumni have had IPOs between 2017 and 2021, being listed on the German (Frankfurt) and American (NASDAQ) stock exchange successfully. ESA BIC Bavaria is one of the most successful incubation programmes in Europe.

🚀 The sky is the limit? Not when you’re building a startup! 🚀 We’re reaching for the stars and got accepted into the ESA BIC Bavaria program. The program provides us with €50k in grant funding, office space, as well as coaching and mentoring opportunities. The business incubation program is funded by the ESA Commercialisation Gateway and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (#STMWI) in equal parts. Space exploration is R&D heavy and requires a lot of automation, robotics, and remote control. 🦾UniteLabs is transforming the laboratory space to enable just that.
