(220.000t CO2 eq/year). This monumental decision marks a significant step forward in reducing packaging waste, advancing re-use systems, and supporting the transition to a circular economy across Europe. Yet, even more efforts are yet required to make a significant impact. 💡 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: • Binding 40 % re-use targets by 2030 for transport packaging and ambitious recycled content targets 🔎 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: At Reusable Packaging Europe (RPE), we are excited about the PPWR’s strong emphasis on reusable transport packaging. #PPWR rules will come into action as of 2030. At this point, single used plastic packaging cannot be used for #nationaltransports and #intercompanytransports anymore. A standardized and internationally accepted #solution is the #reuseplantpackaging of Euro Plant Tray eG Do not close your eyes to this new law any longer but #GetReadyInTime!
