Johnson Matthey and Bosch have announced a long-term agreement to collaborate on the development of hydrogen fuel cells. The European Commission has allocated €6.8 million to support the feasability study phase of the Nordic Baltic Hydrogen Corridor (NBHC). Quest One and MAN Energy Solutions have begun construction on a demonstration plant in Augsburg, Germany. The proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer is based on a Modular Hydrogen Platform (MHP), consisting on 10-megawatt module blocks. During a ministerial conference in Rome, Germany, Algeria, Italy, Austria and Tunisia have signed a political declaration of intent to develop a hydrogen corridor.
