Waste-to-energy plant Syctom Ivry, Paris 13 The new environmentally friendly waste incineration plant for energy recovery in Ivry-sur-Seine near Paris replaces the existing incineration plant and is the largest household waste recycling center in the Ile-de-France region with 350,000 tons per year and 1.4 million inhabitants. This high-tech project is part of an ecological concept and thus overcomes several challenges: Reducing environmental impact: reducing the amount of waste incinerated by 50%, reducing atmospheric emissions, drastically reducing water requirements, reducing odor and noise pollution, reducing truck traffic, greening roofs and facades and adapted lighting. Generation of green energy: creation of an energy recovery system from the collected waste, the steam generated is fed into the CPCU (Compagnie Parisienne de Chauffage Urbain) network. Glasfabrik Lamberts

We are delighted 😊 and also a little proud to present our 200th project on our project page today: The new Clarion Collection Hotel Tapetfabriken Clarion Hotel® @ Clarion Hotels in the expansive district of Sickla in Stockholm. As can be presumed based on the name, the hotel building is a wallpaper factory, originating from 1906, with the old brick walls still preserved. Tapetfabriken comprises 236 hotel rooms, four conference rooms, a lobby, bar and restaurant. In keeping with Sickla’s historical industrial, red brick buildings, the façade of the two lower floors mixes 100-year-old original bricks with new ones to create a beautiful variation. To this historic, grounded lower part is added a more lightweight three-story extension, covered with a white semi-transparent glass lamella structure made of low-iron LINIT EcoGlass with a translucent white colour enamelling and integrated façade lighting. Laminated safety glass at a height of 90 meters At a height of around 90 meters, the shimmering metallic crown sits atop the chimney of the renovated energy center on Josefsstrasse in Zurich, Switzerland. The outer shell made of profiled glass Lamberts LINIT EcoGlass L dominates the appearance of the cylindrical chimney crown. This sophisticated construction, with a diameter of more than ten meters, a height of more than four meters and a weight of 14 tons, was assembled on the ground and lifted and placed on the tower in just 30 minutes using a huge heavy-duty crane operated by a steady hand. After a risk assessment, the decision-makers opted for LINIT L (laminated) profiled glass from Lamberts for safety reasons. This glass is combined with an additional film and another glass in the main area to form a laminated safety glass. The new facade of the heating plant was also covered with LINIT EcoGlass. The architects decided on a mixture of toughened LINIT moiré with azure coating and toughened LINIT 504. The result is a perfect play of colors. At night, the structure is illuminated as a fine shadow play on the glass surface. Special feature: The first stage of the peak load centre was built and commissioned while the energy plant was in operation in order to avoid an interruption in supply. The construction costs amounted to around 235 million Swiss francs. The metal construction work was carried out by the specialists from the Swiss company Blaser Metallbau AG, who also kindly provided us with the fantastic photos of the glass crown. Targetti headquarters in Florence, Italy „The TH01 project, developed for Targetti Sankey S.r.l., the historic Italian lighting company, is located in the Florence headquarters. TH01, an acronym, in which T stands for Targetti, H is all that space represents – Headquarter, House, Hub, History, Happening – 01 because it is the first step of a path that involves Targetti internationally. The project idea is to create a wunderkammer, an attic of wonders, a space full of elements, unexpected and surprising, that can be transformed according to needs. TH01, conceived as a dynamic and flexible workplace, is in fact characterized by volumes with different characteristics and functions (reception area, exhibition area, laboratory, showroom, meeting/workshop area, event area), distinct and interconnected, in which each element plays an important role in telling the story, values and company products. The various volumes alternate in a game of textures, colors and materials that take shape and change their appearance through the wise use of light.“ Floor area: 990 ㎡ Designer: DEFERRARI+MODESTI Photo: Anna Positano Lamberts products: LINIT®EcoGlass P 26/60/7, cord, S (sandblasted), TH (toughened, heat-soak-test) Awards: Iconic Awards 2021: „Innovative Architecture“ Iconic Awards 2021: „Innovative Material“ Bigsee Interior Design Award 2020 – Winner Archilovers „Best Project 2020“ To see more of our projects, please visit: https://lnkd.in/eD6upVk4 #targetti_lighting #targetti #deferrarimodesti #targettihub #florence #firenze #bigsee #interiordesignawards #showroomdesign #exhibitiondesign #glasfabriklamberts #linit #profiledglass #castglass #architecturalglass #madeingermany

The deep fluted Prismasolar surface texture of Bendheim’s bird-friendly Lamberts channel glass creates a stunning 34 foot tall glass feature wall on the exterior of this bank. The U-shaped channels of single glazed glass have slight gaps between them, allowing the wall to act as a ventilated screen. Held in place with Bendheim’s patented Wall-F compression system fittings, the glass can span up to 20 ft. (based on project requirements). Bendheim’s secure mechanical attachment systems are easily installed and field adjustable, and enhance performance. LINIT EcoGlass brings privacy, daylight, and a sense of elegance to the Westchester Landing of the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge. The double-glazed, tempered channel glass encloses the Welcome Center and was specified for its optimal privacy and ability to transform the structure into a beacon for those visiting the pedestrian park. It is the first project in North America to utilize channel glass in a canopy. The tempered-laminated safety channels meet all building safety codes, and were installed in an engineered single-glazed system.
