🌍🚀 GR Collaboration Booster: Boundless Connectivity!    What started as a vision became reality from November 12th to 14th: the GR Collaboration Booster! Global Real Estate @ Bosch colleagues from around the world participated and experienced how the “Follow the Sun” model connected us around the clock. From Asia-Pacific to Europe to Latin America – each region contributed its perspectives and fostered collaboration across all time zones. 🌎✨    Three days of interactive sessions and exciting insights, where each region shared its unique ideas and experiences. It was impressive to see how the exchange between regions led to concrete solutions and helped us intensify collaboration. Through the diversity of perspectives and a shared focus on innovative solutions, we became even more closely connected as a global team. 💪    A big thank you to everyone who helped shape this event. First CST Info Day in Feuerbach: Coming Together for Optimal Facility Management Support 🔗   The best collaboration happens when people know and understand each other. That’s why, on October 25, the Bosch Global Real Estate Cluster Service Teams (CST) from the greater Stuttgart area met in Feuerbach in person. The event provided 14 Facility Management teams the opportunity to connect and present topics they work on passionately every day.   The Info Day gave both new and experienced teams the chance to exchange experiences, build synergies, and initiate joint projects. Particularly meaningful was the participation of Jan Schneider, Global Operation Manager (GR/GOM-GER and -GRS) and the visit of Julia F. Bosch GR Builds the Future in Denmark Sustainability meets innovation: The construction of our new Bosch headquarters in Ballerup is progressing rapidly. An impressive wooden building is taking shape, bringing 400 employees together under one roof and setting new standards for sustainable construction. Architectural features promote cross-departmental collaboration – and instead of concrete, we’re using sustainable wood. A public café will serve as a gathering place for employees and the local community. 🌟 One Year, One Day, One Successful Start! 🌟 What does it take to establish a state-of-the-art production facility in China in record time? Team spirit and the unwavering will to achieve greatness together! On October 17, we celebrated the opening of our new Suzhou plant (Szh 501 ) in China, which now produces performance components for local electric vehicles. We are especially proud to have completed construction five months ahead of offered schedule from an investor and stayed under budget! Through close collaboration with our teams from Germany, local partners, and the Mobility Electronics and Vehicle Motion divisions, we achieved this impressive result.   With ramping up around 1,500 dedicated employees already in the first phase, we are ready to actively shape the future. How do you optimize site planning to enhance space usage, infrastructure, processes, and meet user requirements? 🏭 Global Real Estate @ Bosch offers a digital solution as a service for Bosch sites globally: the GR Reality Capture Platform.   This platform emerged from the first Digital Twin of a #Bosch facility—the Wafer Fab in Dresden. Once the Digital Twin reached a high level of maturity there, the Global Real Estate team, led by Jan-Lukas Gehl, recognized the potential of the 3D laser scan, which integrates panoramic images and a highly accurate point cloud 🌌, as a powerful planning tool 🧰. This led to the creation of the GR Reality Capture Platform.   The platform enables diverse disciplines from across the globe 🌎 to collaborate, compare solutions across locations, and virtually assess them using the 3D model of the selected site. After a phase of preparation how to find the best approach for the region India finally it was the right time: On September 5, colleagues from Stuttgart were finally able to travel to Bangalore for the Indian Implementation days together with all FCM responsibles from all over India! Robert Beck as project lead, Tobias Lorson guiding the onboarding together with Ela Dybalska, Maike Schumann for HR topics and Ulrike Vieregge who organized and facilitated the event.   Naturally, the first day focused on getting to know each other and on team building. The change agents were familiarized with their topic and learned how to accompany and support their managers.   The topics of the 3-day conference covered a broad overview of the GR contributions to the Bosch transformation, the GR strategy and deep dives into topics such as the establishment of the Cluster Service Teams, Integrated Facility Management, commercial topics, portfolio management, digitalization, change management and more.   For the participants the question what the implementation means for them on site and how collaboration will work in the future was particularly important. This includes the implementation of 4 clusters. The best-practice presentations from China 🇨🇳 and Brazil 🇧🇷 also met with particular interest. Their first-hand experience of the GR implementation 2 years ago was very interesting and the colleagues had many questions. The comparison between Brazil and India brought up surprising similarities – in country size, food and even considering the color of the paper money.   Finally, the next steps and tasks for the next months were defined. To continue to prepare our colleagues for the integration in the best possible way, we will conduct further deep dive sessions in the coming weeks. 📚   #globalrealestate #grpowerhouse #collaboration #onefamily

Our colleague Enrico Neuber works as a Solution Architect with colleagues from Global Real Estate @ Bosch to develop digital solutions for sustainable, customer-focused real estate services. 💡 In doing so, he contributes to GR's mission: Breaking down silos and bringing together Bosch locations worldwide. 🌎 👉 The basis for the solutions is a sound understanding of the business, a detailed problem description and process descriptions. A good example is the cloud-based GR Master Data System. This is used to maintain the GR portfolio. It provides information on the properties and buildings we manage. Solutions are described using the Bosch Solution Architecture Framework. 🧰 👉 From overarching transformation processes to specific applications, the spectrum of activities ranges. For example, the team is currently planning a pilot project in Germany. This will test the use of a global corporate ID card. 💳 With data-driven solutions like this, the projectteam aims to support sustainable business decisions and the achievement of Bosch's sustainability goals. Do you really need fresh water for toilet flushes, cooling systems, or landscaping? This was the question the FCM team of Global Real Estate in Bengaluru asked. In many countries, fresh water is in short supply. So, the team did some research into what recycled water could be used for. The result? Water can be used 100% again for their construction sites - for things like:    🌊 Air filters  🌊 Gardening  🌊 Flushing toilets  🌊 Heating, ventilation and air conditioning   We are very pleased to be able to share our innovative and sustainable projects with you. 👀 Watch out, we can also build radically. In Casablanca, Morocco, for example! This is where we at Global Real Estate @ Bosch have built a new head office for Bosch in North Africa. The building is extraordinary in many ways: 🥇 It is the first of its kind in Morocco to operate without air conditioning 90 percent of the time, with the exception of the server room. 🤩 🧱 The façades are constructed from clay sourced during the cellar excavation and recycled using traditional Moroccan building techniques. 💡 An sophisticated system for window operation, combined with daylight sensors, regulates temperature and lighting to maximize energy savings. 🌱💦 The building features a planted inner courtyard with a water basin, which together provide fresh air naturally. 🔌 Photovoltaic systems on the roof meet all electricity and heating needs with green energy and even power the electric car charging stations in the underground parking garage. "A revolutionary and radical example of ecological building", says the Morrocco Green Building Council. Thank you for the compliment!
