What a beautiful evening in Vienna! 😍 Yesterday we celebrated our awarded GREEN BRANDS in the historic Palais Niederösterreich. 44 brands received the GREEN BRANDS Austria trophy for their achievements in climate and sustainability. The GREEN BRANDS Hungary, GREEN BRANDS Slovakia and GREEN BRANDS Česká republika also received their trophies at our gala. 🏆 Ski racer and environmental activist Julian Schütter was honored as "GREEN BRANDS Austria" personality. The evening was hosted by the charming ORF presenter Julia Schütze - thank you very much for that! 🙏 Among the 300 guests was the Austrian Minister for Climate Protection Leonore Gewessler. She is the patron of the Austrian Environmental Journalism Award, which was also awarded at our gala last night. 🌿 Congratulations to all GREEN BRANDS and the award-winning environmental journalists! 👏 And thank you to all our invited guests for the wonderful evening with you! 🥳

Our GREEN BRAND Austria Zurück zum Ursprung makes organic that goes one step further: HOFER Österreich's own brand stands for sustainable agriculture that is ahead of its time. 🌾 Strict testing guidelines and comprehensive transparency set new standards for high-quality organic food, where every Zurück zum Ursprung product can be traced back to its origin online. Congratulations on the second re-validation and the renewed GREEN BRAND Austria award! 💚

Brau Union Österreich proves that beer brewing can also be more environmentally friendly! 🌱 With its sustainability strategy “Brew a better world”, the company wants to set a clear example: From using the residues of the brewing malt (spent grains) as animal feed and for the production of biogas to reducing CO2 emissions, for example through the use of heat pumps and photovoltaic systems, our GREEN BRAND Austria is committed and also pays as much attention as possible to sustainability when procuring raw materials. 🌿 The certificate for the fourth re-validation was recently presented to Director Corporate Affairs Daniela Winnicki by our GREEN BRANDS Managing Director Norbert Lux at the company headquarters in Linz. 🏆 Shaping beer culture socially and ecologically so that future generations can still enjoy the best of hops and malt - that's a goal we're happy to toast! Last call: The Austrian daily newspaper "Heute" is going into the next round with its "Heute for Future Award" and is looking for the best ideas for our climate. 🌳 The environmental award honors innovative ideas and projects for sustainable cities, green infrastructure and circular economy - and we are a partner. 💪 The deadline has been extended: All participants have until December 1, 2024 to submit their ideas for a chance to win over €100,000 in prizes. Let's take climate action together. 🌍

In just two weeks our GREEN BRANDS Austria Gala returns to the Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna to present our Austrian brands with their trophies. 🏆 We are looking forward to a wonderful evening about climate protection, sustainability and the commitment of our GREEN BRANDS to our planet. 🌎 On December 3rd, our Green Brands from Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic will also receive their awards in Vienna! 🎤 The event in the beautiful Landtagssaal will once again be hosted by ORF presenter and journalist Julia Schütze. We are really looking forward to it. We will also host the Austrian Environmental Journalism Award again and honor Austria's best environmental journalists at our evening event. We are looking forward to many invited guests and a wonderful evening! 🙌

He is a ski racer and climate activist, supports Fridays for Future and the NGO Protect Our Winters (POW) and is an active member of the Last Generation: Julian Schütter. Speaking about his career, the skier says that skiing was part of his childhood development in his hometown of Schladming, Austria. Stopping the effects of global warming is therefore a personal concern for him. His efforts have raised awareness of climate change not only at the International Ski Federation, but also among many other people. Julian Schütter retired from professional skiing earlier this year. He is now devoting even more of his time to climate and environmental protection. We are very proud to announce that Julian Schütter is this year's "GREEN BRANDS Austria Personality". 🏆 A great role model with a huge commitment to our planet! 🌎 👏
