We are glad to announce that Green Generation Fund has co-led the $9.8M oversubscribed seed round for Oxford spin-out FluoRok, alongside BGF, Volta Energy Technologies, and existing investors Oxford Science Enterprises, the University of Oxford, Excellis, and several angel investors. FluoRok has developed a groundbreaking, patented process for producing fluorochemicals—essential for the global energy transition and food security. As the only company worldwide offering a sustainable and cost-efficient alternative to the traditional, carbon-intensive process that relies on hydrogen fluoride, FluoRok is positioned to make a significant impact. With the fluorochemical market growing, their innovation is key to strengthening European and Western supply chain resilience.
