Exciting start to Forum Solar Plus in Berlin with a fresh welcome by greentech

3𝗗 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗩 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Why should you plan in two dimensions when you need to construct any PV power plant in 3D later on? In the EPC sector, we create 3D models of all plant areas as part of our construction planning process. The entire PV plant, including its structural details, is captured in a detailed three-dimensional model. This allows us to present the plant design with centimeter-level accuracy and from every imaginable perspective. Thanks to a high zoom factor, even the smallest construction details are displayed clearly and comprehensively, enabling detailed examination. Specific sections can be exported as 2D drawings when needed, which we provide to subcontractors responsible for construction in addition to the standard construction plans. This approach ensures consistent and reliable construction methods. At the same time, we contribute to the overall quality of plant construction, paving the way for a high-performing and long-lasting power plant.   Do you have questions or want to learn more? This week we were able to submit the authorisation documents for our project in Basilicata. The 20 MWp agrivoltaic system is planned in combination with a 10 MWp battery storage system. Our concept, which has been specially developed for this region, offers a wide range of opportunities and is characterised by a high degree of feasibility: In addition to the planting of animal fodder crops and olive trees, beehives complement our concept and emphasise our holistic approach to the sustainable and innovative use of agricultural land. At greentech, we firmly believe in the strength and potential of #agrivoltaics - the combined use of agricultural land for energy production through photovoltaic systems and simultaneous agricultural cultivation. The submission for three further agrivoltaics projects with an output of 195 MWp is imminent. Greetings from the Island 🇬🇧! This week, together with my colleagues Jörn Carstensen and Aleksis Schäfer from the greentech Management Board I am at our branch in Milton Keynes, UK. 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁   Since April 2023, 12 companies in the solar industry, including #greentech, have been working under the umbrella of the VDE and with the help of the renewable energy consultants from 8.2 Arp & Kleiss to create an industry-wide catalogue of requirements for the quality of the latest generation of solar modules. This has now been published. The new VDE Specification 90038 harmonizes and standardizes the quality demanded by developers, EPCs, investors, or banks for solar modules, and defines a market standard that manufacturers must meet. The fulfilment of this defined module quality is expected to contribute to the longevity of systems and ensures reliable green energy production overall. Topics such as factory audits, production process supervision, and pre- and post-shipment testing are uniformly defined in the guidelines, with detailed procedures for quality control and quality testing.
