#Delimax, a leading company in the delicatessen industry based in the Czech Republic, has been using #GRUNWALD cup filling machines for many years to fill their high-quality products such as hummus, sandwich spreads and delicatessen salads. All the cup filling machines supplied by GRUNWALD must be characterised by 🔹 high format flexibility and allow for a 🔹 quick and simple changeover, as Delimax’s extensive product portfolio means that multiple product changes are required during daily production. Our all-in-one machine concept allows for such flexible filling. In addition to the main filling station for hummus, these cup filling machines have free spaces for connecting various mobile fillers. Depending on the product presentation desired, either the mobile, servo-driven piston filler type SEMIDOS developed by GRUNWALD or a dosing machine for placing dry spices or herb toppings on the product can be connected at the free spaces of the machine or exchanged, as required. This allows for a very simple, quick and flexible variety of product garnishing. For the dosing of chickpeas, we supplied a highly precise dosing system specially developed for this application. The number of chickpeas to be filled is pre-selected on the operator panel and dosed accordingly. Our flexible rotary-type machines with their mobile fillers enable Delimax and many other customers from the delicatessen industry to achieve a variety of different garnishes and fillings. Thus, the hummus products can be decorated with 🔹 herbs and chickpeas, 🔹 sauce and chickpeas, 🔹 or herbs and sauce, as desired. The order of the toppings is freely selectable. 𝗚𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗗’𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: Direct support in the amount of EUR 8.000,00 GRUNWALD once again provides direct support to the people of Uganda. This year‘s donation to "awamu – zusammen für Uganda e.V.“ is for the residential buildings belonging to the St. Denis Primary School in the village of Buyambi that is in a very rural area in the north-west of Uganda. The roofs of the residential buildings are leaky, the roof framework is heavily decayed.These residential buildings provide permanent accommodation for Denis Ssegawa, the founder and teacher of this school, his staff, seven school children during the school term, as well as another eight school children during their holidays. There are approximately 350 primary school children being taught in the St. Denis Primary School, of whom 100 school children are housed in the boarding school. Since 1999, Margareta Riese and the aid organisation “awamu” have been supporting the St. Denis Primary School with its 20 teachers, who all take care of their pupils with great commitment and dedication. With an average annual income of only 500 US dollars, it is not possible for them to raise the money for such major renovations themselves. (ZDM), we supported the DMA Association Day financially and were represented with an indoor exhibition stand at the DMA trade exhibition in Weingarten from 26 to 28 September 2024. Sales Director Christoph Trunzer opened the symposium with his presentation of “The art of error analysis and continuous improvement”. On Saturday, we invited guests to a factory tour and breakfast of Bavarian veal sausages in Wangen. Approximately 60 people seized the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes. Torsten Sach, the corporate lawyer of the Association of the German Dairy Industry and person responsible for the DMA association day, confirmed: “The factory tour was designated to be the highlight of the framework programme. GRUNWALD systems with ultraclean technology for filling cups and buckets GRUNWALD set new standards with regard to hygiene with the certified and peroxide-free sterilisation procedure developed. This ultraclean concept meets all requirements for observing maximum hygiene levels in the production of dairies and the food industry. Up-to-date machine technology guarantees a reliably higher product safety and combines maximum possible flexibility with maximum performance and reduction of running costs on the basis of maximum hygiene standards at the same time. Ultraclean sterilisation for cups and buckets The pulsed light high-performance UV(C) sterilisation rate for cup- and bucket filling machines was well tried and tested over the past few years. It can be used on rotary-type and inline bucket fillers for handling cups and buckets up to 20 litres. A sterilisation rate of at least LOG4 is guaranteed for buckets from 1 to 10 litres. In addition this procedure can be generally applied for all standard cups and lids used by the food industry. GRUNWALD invests once again in modern machinery! In the past we have already invested heavily in the expansion of our buildings and machinery. With the purchase of a further milling machine, we have now expanded our machine workshop, which is between four to five years young. This is our 12th milling machine and 20th finishing machine! Our production department meets the highest standards and is state of the art. The department is the heart of our production and employs 16 highly qualified people (including one trainee). They are specialists in production and machining technology and are expected to meet the highest standards. The purchase of additional machinery for our production department is another investment in the future. Margarine is a modern product. It is long-lasting, affordable and now available in different variants with different fat contents. After years of reluctance on the part of consumers, margarine is experiencing significant development and is attractive on the market thanks to a combination of technological advances, sustainable production and the adaptation of the product to consumer wishes (e.g. the reduction of saturated and trans fatty acids). Due to the increase in enquiries, we are experiencing a growing willingness in the food industry worldwide to invest in new and modern machine technology for filling and packaging margarine. Grunwald is participating in this development, as Grunwald is also a pioneer in modern and advanced filling technology. A technology that serves to optimise production and offers solutions for optimum filling. Example: The considerable product loss that often used to occur in the past is a thing of the past when filling margarine with GRUNWALD cup fillers. Nearly two dozen master students and their teachers as well as colleagues of the training dairy took up this year's invitation at the beginning of November to experience perfect process technology live and up close in our assembly halls. Visitors were delighted to see the latest technical developments live and on site. In particular, it was exciting to learn more about the technical solutions currently in demand by food manufacturers worldwide for filling the wide range of (dairy) products. For decades Grunwald has been the service provider and partner for the Baden-Württemberg Agricultural Centre (LAZBW), Dairy Department in Wangen (also known as the Wangen Dairy School). We look forward to continuing the interesting and rewarding discussions between the young professionals.
