Global bathroom manufacturers signed an agreement aimed at reducing billions of liters of waste water from toilets, faucets and showers around the world. As a manufacturer of sanitary products, the Hansgrohe Group fulfills its responsibility. Our CEO Hans Juergen Kalmbach signed the declaration. A signature that further underlines and strengthens our commitment to a sustainable future. By signing this historic pledge, each company agreed to aim for cutting billions of liters in water waste and reducing the spread of harmful bacteria. Together with other industry leaders we committed to advancing product innovations, like water-efficient toilets and touchless technology, to enhance hygiene and address water scarcity, positioning bathrooms at the forefront of health and environmental protection efforts. We are convinced that the commitments made will impact billions of lives globally and redefine the role of the bathroom in protecting public health and the environment. The gathering at Windsor Castle was organised by UK-based Bathroom Manufacturers Association. There will be follow-ups on a regular basis to measure the impact of the declaration. #WindsorDeclaration #GlobalHealth #Sustainability

The Hansgrohe Group has been awarded the Platinum Medal in the EcoVadis sustainability rating, the highest accolade for its sustainability performance! 🙂 This places our company among the top 1% of all 130,000 companies assessed. This is the third time that we have used the annual systematic evaluation of the globally recognized rating to analyze progress, identify potential for improvement and create greater transparency regarding our sustainability performance thanks to comparable benchmarks from a neutral service provider. “Only by constantly monitoring and evaluating our sustainability activities can we continuously gain important insights and opportunities for comparison. This is the basis on which we initiate new projects and changes in all areas of the company,” explains Rebecca Weigold, Head of Green Company. 🌱 Comprehensive ethics and compliance training for our own employees, 🌱 the integration of social and ecological issues into the company's purchasing guidelines and 🌱 support for national and international sustainability networks and initiatives are some of the successful measures that led to the leap from silver to platinum in the previous year. We are delighted to have been awarded EcoVadis Platinum. Of course, it also spurs us on to continue pursuing our sustainability initiatives in a goal-oriented and ambitious manner. #InTouchWithOurPlanet #sustainability

Together we can achieve more! 🤝 As one of more than 200 members from 27 countries in the multi-stakeholder platform Water Europe, we are committed to a water-safe, sustainable and water-smart society in Europe and beyond. We are delighted that our CEO, Hans Juergen Kalmbach, was appointed to the association's board in September. In this role, he will step up his efforts to promote the sustainable use of water, the elixir of life, in our society. Especially in private households, the potential for water efficiency is far from exhausted. Just think of ♻ the reuse of water or 💧 reducing its consumption through water-efficient products. That is why we want to make water a political priority. Water Europe calls on the European Commission to implement the Water Resilience Initiative as soon as possible. It aims to ensure access to water for people, nature and the economy while combating catastrophic flooding and water scarcity. With the appointment of Jessika Roswall as European Commissioner for "Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive and Circular Economy", the European Commission is setting a new milestone. For the first time, water resilience and water efficiency are clearly part of an EU Commissioner's portfolio. This gives us confidence and strengthens our commitment to a future with a sustainably secure water supply. #InTouchWithOurPlanet #Sustainability

With social innovation, the Hansgrohe Group also contributes to the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) goals, to which we have committed ourselves.
