🥇🥈🥉 Medals galore for HRT at the FIA Motorsport Games! The Haupt Racing Team celebrated a strong debut at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia, Spain, with three medals. In the GT competition, team founder Hubert Haupt and Finn Wiebelhaus won the gold medal for Team Germany. ❗️Haupt Racing Team to race Ford Mustang GT3 from 2025 onwards and announces new lubricant partnership❗️   The Haupt Racing Team is entering a new era in its success story: Starting next season, the highly decorated German DTM team will compete as factory supported team with the Ford Mustang GT3 as part of a long-term cooperation spanning multiple race series.   At the heart of the partnership are factory entries in several high-profile racing series and championships, most notably the DTM. HRT Ford Performance – the official name of the team – will enter two Ford Mustang GT3s in the 2025 season. This marks the official return of the US manufacturer to the prestigious series. Ford previously competed in the DTM as a works team between 1984 and 1989 and even won the drivers' championship in 1988.   Alongside the cooperation with Ford, HRT is also entering into a new partnership with RAVENOL. The Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH brand will be the official lubricant partner of HRT Ford Performance starting with the 2025 season. This will become visible in the DTM and in the 24 hour race at the Nürburgring, where HRT will enter a Ford Mustang GT3 in the full RAVENOL design. HRT's other Ford GT cars will carry a RAVENOL co-branding. The Haupt Racing Team will be contesting the FIA Motorsport Games for the first time at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo from 23 to 27 October. 🇩🇪 As Team Germany, the squad from Drees will represent the German colours in the GT discipline with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 and drivers Hubert Haupt and Finn Wiebelhaus. In the GT Sprint category, Finn Wiebelhaus will compete for Germany and Daniel Juncadella for Spain 🇪🇸

An eventful DTM season 2024 came to an end for Mercedes-AMG Team HRT on the eighth and final weekend of the year with points finishes for Arjun Maini and Jules Gounon. The Indian driver achieved P8 and P13 in the two races at the Hockenheimring with the #36 Mercedes-AMG GT3 in MANNOL colours. The sister car sporting the Merbag livery was driven this time by Jules Gounon, taking over from Luca Stolz, who was unable to race due to illness. The Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver from Andorra impressed on his DTM debut with sixth place and the fastest lap of the race on Saturday, but a puncture prevented him from seeing the chequered flag in Sunday's race. In the championship, Mercedes-AMG Team HRT made a crucial contribution to Mercedes-AMG winning the DTM manufacturers‘ title this season, delivering one victory and four podiums. The brand finished the season with 434 points in first place among the seven manufacturers. At the Sachsenring, Luca Stolz and HRT claimed the only victory of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the past DTM season. The German finished ninth in the drivers’ standings. For Arjun Maini, 2024 was his most successful year so far. With a podium at Zandvoort, a pole position and two further third places at the Red Bull Ring, he finished seventh in the drivers‘ standings. In the teams’ standings, HRT concluded its fourth season in the DTM in fifth place with 272 points. The Haupt Racing Team enjoyed another successful season in the ADAC GT Masters. The team from Drees entered three Mercedes-AMG GT3s with promising young talents on the six race weekends of the prestigious GT3 series this year, successfully defending the teams’ title. Salman Owega and David Schumacher took their third victory of the year in Saturday's race, giving the team their fourth win of the season. This result meant that HRT secured the championship for the second year in a row with one race to spare. Owega and Schumacher finished the season in third place in the drivers' championship. The duo achieved five podiums in the #2 Mercedes-AMG GT3 this year, including two victories at the Nürburgring and in Saturday’s race at Hockenheim. In addition, Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver David Schumacher claimed two pole positions and two fastest race laps. In the drivers' standings, Jannes Fittje and rookie Finn Wiebelhaus finished the season in fourth place. The driver pairing took three podiums, including a victory in Saturday’s race at the Red Bull Ring. Kwanda Mokoena and Max Reis took a podium finish at the season opener in Oschersleben.
